Kombat Networks REVOLUTION-X is Today! 5P.M. E.S.T.
Thank you so much for posting this!
I was actually going to post it myself, but my dinner took longer than I expected.
All of the VSM beasts should be at this tournament. I think CHECK is there too.
Go Crazy Dominican!
I'm also very excited to see how well KT Smith does, his Smoke is constantly improving. One of these days he's going to take down one of those VSM beasts like REO or CD bros.
It should start any minute now!
Come on STREAM MONSTERS!
EDIT: Casuals were scheduled to start at 4pm EST, tourney at 5pm EST actually.

Oh yes, so scary! Check did pretty well actually.
EDIT: Fantastic match between Crazy Dominican (Kitana) & Riu48 (Sonya). Amazing footsies from both! Interesting to see CD use Kitana's 3, 3 string. Loved the match & CD's Kitana is looking good!
EDIT 2: Another great win for CD, baiting Sabin's Kenshi 2-1 (a bad match-up for Kitana). Loved how he messed up Kenshi in the first match with square wave boosts and nice whiff baiting of Kenhi's specials later on. CD Jr. again saying (on stream) Kitana is #1 in the game. I don't know about that :-\

Don't worry, we know you over there too! It's really cool in the stream chat since there aren't any MK haters.
Great matches in Top8 so far! I feel it's going to be CD Jr. again taking the win.
LOL, as some of you guys know, I stayed up until the end, 5.30am lmao. My brain was so dead during the grand finals.
Anyway, the losers finals [CD Jr. (Smoke, Kenshi) vs Riu48 (Sonya)] was amazing. I love how Riu48 blew up CD Jr.'s counterpick Kenshi, but then CD Jr. went back to Smoke and took the deciding match 2-1 by a very narrow life lead margin.
The matches between Crazy Dominican (Kitana) and Riu48 (Sonya) were amazing too! Loved the footsies, esp. CD walking backwards, trying to bait enh. cartwheel. Interesting to see CD still using Kitana's b1,2 string and now also adding the 3,3,3 string while pressuring. Riu48 sneaked in some spot-on anti-air uppercuts. I do think CD should have zoned more, especially the 2nd time they met. Even with the life lead, he decided not to zone.
Riu48 definitely impressed me the most, he's improving constantly. He nearly took out CD Jr., who in the end destroyed REO in the grand finals and showed once again who the boss is on the East Coast.
Maxter's Cage was fun to watch. Funny thing, according to CD Jr.'s words, Maxter refuses to play as Cage against CD Jr. so that CD Jr. doesn't get the match-up experience that might help him in future major tournaments. Also, Maxter switched from robot Cyrax to human Cyrax. It saddens me that the human version is repressing the robot version on the tourney scene, simply because I generally much prefer the robot version of Cyrax. SwiftTomHanks was also playing with human Sektor. :sad face:
Finally, I really enjoyed watching the stream, the video/audio quality was great, matches were amazing and it was awesome chatting with familiar guys in the chat room. Since it was an MK-exclusive tourney there were no MK haters in the chat room which made it so much easier and more entertaining to chat.
Great experience overall! Revolution-X 2012 - it was awesome!
