Does anyone have any tips on a spammy Kenshi strategy for online play? I see some people doing it. They are really good at the distance game and keeping me back with his telekenitcs. I can't seem to pull it off as well.
Apparently he's pretty $hitty up close, so try to get in and bully him. I suggest using an armored move to get in so that you don't have to block a ton of his specials which will build him plenty of meter and give him a breaker once you finally get to him.
I haven't played against many Kenshi players though, so not sure what other advice to give you...

Thanks, I should've said I want to learn how to use Kenshi that way :)
I want to spam with him.
I want to spam with him.
Getting in on Kenshi really isn't that difficult and I don't think he's bad up close, not the best, but certainly not bad, his sword has killer range and his combo strings are easy as heck, he has a 1,1,1 combo 1,1,4 and 1,1,2 combo, pretty basic stuff. He has other combos, much better ones, but just saying those are some of his easiest.
TBH he's one of the most accessible characters out there, Kenshi cheese isn't that hard to beat either... his tele-flurry you can just dunk underneath it. if you're close enough you can jump over his tele-charge and punish with a full combo. If you don't stay too stagnant his other telekinetic specials can't really have you pressed.
Out of all the zoning characters, Kenshi is one of the easiest to get in on and make him pay.

Kenshi is good at both, close and ranged. If you want to spam with him, well what else can be said? Just spam...

There is some strategy to a good spam. I've gotten pretty good at spamming with reptile. And some players have an awesome noob spam strategy. It's all about timing. Adjusting to how the opponent tries to avoid your spam.
I've played a few Kenshi players who I just couldn't get close to. That's what I'm striving for here.
Doesn't anyone here appreciate a good spam? :)

That's not spam, that's called zoning.
The best zoners are also well rounded in other areas such as offense and tricks+defense and no I don't appreciate a "good" spam(because it's different from a skilled zoner player), I find it highly boring and unimpressive, viable strategy or not. I find it highly easy to zone with Stryker and Sonya, great projectile games on both of them and I have experimented with repetitive zoning, it's not difficult, it really is not.
Zoning as an "art form" really? It's viable strategy, but hitting back forward 1 or whatever input a character has is not impressive, I suppose hitting Scorpion's 1,1,1 combo the whole fight is considered an art form too? I'm genuinely curious is that considered an art form too, because I just don't see it.
Real zoning art form is displayed by pro level Noob players, with their crazy black hole and shadow clone traps, that's impressive as hell and I love seeing it, that other stuff? Meh I don't see it.

Sindel and Kabal can counter him. Kabal is just faster whereas Sindel has a different fireball to answer all his tk moves, usually air-fireball is the way to go.
I'm not going to beat a deadhorse. My views on zoning are well known. In brief it is viable but not going to win against anyone good.
