Celebrating twenty years of Mortal Kombat, we've been eliminating the fighting ranks in search of our first Supreme Mortal Kombat Champion!
Making it to the Round of Sixteen (Round 3), Jade is a secret character gone full time!

Born into Edenian nobility, the staff fighter Jade is an agile and stealthy warrior with the task of protecting Kitana. How she goes about this is the question as we discuss the best strategies, combos and counters for Jade!

I don't know Jade that well, but I will attempt to sum her up.

She's not high on the tier list. She is actually very low. Don't underestimate this character, though, as she can be deadly in the right hands.

Good Block strings:

23 f2, staff grab. Does well damage and puts you at +1.

3, staff overhead, safe and does decent damage, connects as a combo

Combos:

JIP, 3, staff overhead, b2, 1 2, 4 + f3, 34% decent BnB

JIP, b1, staff overhead, b2, 1 2, 4 +f3 38% also, decent BnB

Her glow is recommend to use a lot with her because it's safe, builds a ton of meter, and is a great special move.

EN glow is also recommended to use because it has ton of armor, you can use it for projectiles, to get in, escape pressure, etc.

Her boomerangs are good for zoning, but not recommended to use as the recovery is farily slow. EN boomerangs are good for ending rounds, and mixing up the opponent.

Her d4 is pretty good, you can d4 to staffgrab or glow as a mixup to throw your opponent off.
