The tag mode isn't played at tournaments (Evo-like tournaments), only causally as a side thing.

It's got some serious gameplay issues like balance, infinites etc...

We haven't seen any exploited by the general online community, recently, thankfully.

I am interested in the combo possiblities in Tag Kombat. Johnny Cage is a good partner for Stryker, as they can help out in each other's weaknesses. (Stryker at range, Johnny up close.) Stryker's 2, 3, 2 combo is a high, low, high combo. With Johnny Cage as Stryker's tag partner, his 2, 3, Tag-in combo is a high, low, overhead combo. The overhead is Johnny's F+2 in his 2, 1, F+2 combo, so it's also a combo starter!
