(throwing weapons and items in mk8)

i miss this feature and was surprised by this not being in mkda. it has not been in since mk4 and i am hoping for it to return in mk8. maybe the mk team can alter this feature by altering the speed, acccuracy, and damage by the weight of the weapon or item thrown. what do you think.

Perfect example of this is in Marvel Nemesis. Not everyone can lift a car, and it can't go far. A good number of people can't lift armored cars or lampposts. Those are even less far-thrown. But everyone can lift a parking meter or mailbotes and they go far.

Throwing weapons, however, I would prefer only in special moves.

very cool Idea. and i think throwing the weapons'd be cool. It'd be like MKDA. I was also thinking it'd be cool to be able to pull them out or something by grabbing them

I like this idea.
altho if it was a short weapon (e.g. sai) it could be thrown. and if it's a longer weapon (e.g. katana) the opponent could be impaled.

I'm hoping the weapons don't make a return to the series. They always seemed out of place to me.
However if they do return, I do like the idea of the weapons being thrown a certain distance, and with a certain accuracy depending upon the weapon's weight.

I think there should be smaller Items on the Floor that you can throw. Not huge Rocks.
And I want it to where you can throw your weapon. And other people can pick it up. And the they take his Fighting style. I'd like that better rather than a Weapon on map. And make to where you can Drop your Weapon if you get a certain ammount of times.

Heres how I would like to see it work.

You cant throw the primary weapon your using (example: spear, sword, axe, mace, etc.) and you can't pick up items or weapons in the stage to throw as there would not be any. This also means there would not be any weapons wating to be used in the arena like in Deception.

What I would like to see happen is one character would be able to throw projectiles like ball bearings at another. So basically it would be the same system as the older mk's, which are using projectiles like Liu Kang's fireball or using ranged moves like Raiden's torpedo.

I will post more later concerning weapons that can be thrown.
