An option where you program the AI to do specific moves.
In practice mode, you can make the AI block, jump, duck, fight at differents levels, but this is not enough.

It would have been great if you could check the move list of the AI to choose which one she would perform.
It concern special moves, combos, x-ray, or even single hit.

This is perfect for training.
For example, if I face Quan Chi, I select his combo F1, 2, 1+2, he would do that in a repetitive way. Same for the special moves. Also, custom the AI to perform special moves during combos, like Sub-Zero 2, 2, BF+4.

Even more, select more than one move for the AI :
Cyrax, choose two combos :
2, 1, 2
2, 1, DF+3 (Enhanced)

2, 1, 2 : the third and last hit is a mid attack.
2, 1, DF+3 (Enhanced) : the third hit is a low attack.
With that, you can get used to guard properly by seeing which attack hits low or mid.

Now, always with Cyrax, three moves :
B+2 (Mid)
DF+3 Enhanced (Low)
Throw
Ideal for reflexes, to train against a particular opponent, and get used to counter them.

In Tekken 6 BR, this option exist, and this is very useful.

Do you think NRS can add this option in a DLC ?
I guarantee that players will love it.

It's very important.

Why did they waste their energy making DLC costumes and unpunishable Kano up ball ?
Did they test the game before releasing it ?

Because the normal player would rather spend their money on costumes and characters then a practice mode add on.

And of course they tested the game. They can't find all the buggy stuff and glitches before it's time to go gold. Kano's upball will be patched soon so pull the panties out of your ass and develop a sense of logic and patience.

I posted a second comment only to make my thread appear at the top of the forum. My second post was ironic and must not be taken too seriously.

And yes, I know there is a super patch that will solve everything and change MK9 into the ultimate fighting game.

I only want your opinion about my first comment in this thread.
I really think this Training option will help us.

Although this sounds grand and I'm not against the notion in the slightest, but why not just play against a human player if you're looking for certain combo strings? I know it's difficult to say so but practice mode wasn't thought-up for anything more then to practice your combo strings. You can make the computer react in a lot of situations during a combo string but you obviously know that the A.I. only knows general movements.

Cheers.

The problem is I don't have at my disposal any human players that accept to repeat during hours the same moves.
I don't think practice mode should only be here to practice combos.

I have a problem against Reptile dash.
I'm sure there is a small window where you can punish him. I would like to know, with every characters, what is the best way to punish it, but since there is no defensive training in practice mode, I won't be able to get used to this move.

I've tried to enable the "Wake up attack mode" in training mode, but he executes the dash + his other moves in a random way. And even when he does the dash, he sometimes does the enhanced one.

It was easier against Kung Lao, since the AI does on wake up 2 moves : teleport and spin. So i'm able to counter the spin more easily.

I know this is a game where you have to be more on the offensive, but I can't train properly since I can't recreate the situations that give me trouble.
