Fuck me... I want to watch it. I want to watch it so bad. I got a ten hour day tomorrow (11 if my boss hates me), and I just can't stay awake any more.
Pray to heaven they archive the stream.

Winning the match with a X-ray dash-cancel into grab was pretty slick.

Yeah, but you'd think tournament level players would be able to escape those throws on reaction, considering the window is at least 20 frames, which is ridiculous.

Supposedly it's 9 frames, but even then you have to guess the right direction. It's a completely random guess too, especially if the opponent has nothing to gain from the direction he throws you in.

I haven't fooled around with throws enough to know, but the guide says to break a throw you just have to hit 1 or 3 and fails to mention if it differs based on directional input. Obviously, I don't throw enough. I'm used to Tekken where throws are high and duckable whereas in this game if you block and duck you're still susceptible to throws. Something I need to work on.
I digress...that's a good system though, if it is a different break button depending on which direction the throw is headed, since there's always the fear of getting trapped in a corner. Leads to good mind games.
