Why cant our community be independent? A Discussion on Aris and his Opinions about MK

You see I am done with Ares from (Avoid the puddle ) bashing the game and claiming that fundementally the game sucks. His ideas revolve around established elements by the other fighting games that shouldn't change here.He keeps bashing and even releasing casts about him. He is a fanboy of Tekken and he was actually bashing SF4 before he got controlled by their communities.

That isn't the case here. Test Your Might , MKU and the other so claiming high level sites fear the guy and fear his influence. They don't agree with him but they just bash him secretly in their sites while kissing his *** in the general fighting sites/twitter.

Why can't the MK community , one of the largest , put a stop to the guy's bs thrown everyday.He is far less popular than most of the biggest sites here. Why can't we stay independent ? Why must we listen to him ?

I know the game ain't perfect but it is far from being as bad as he is saying.

It's actually Aris. He is a dirty hobo who looks a hell of a lot like Gimly from Lord of the Rings. Also a high profile tournament player who plays MK (as Smoke mostly) at a lot of places. He sucks though and will never win a tournament unless it's a "Hair smelly Mexican's Only Tournament"

As for his opinions, he is entitled to them but he is a dick about it. He is the type who will call for changes or buffs/nerfs the instant something works against him. Probably the type who still lives in his mom's basement.

MKO is kind of a black sheep of the MK community, most of the forums you're talking about are where the hardcore gameplay and tournament focused guys hang out and they don't come here much. Discussion around here tends to be either more casual or more about art design and storyline. ...or girls. Lots of Sonya and Jade topics where many, many pages of words are typed but very little is actually said.

So yeah, most of us don't really know who you're talking about or why we should care, I'm afraid.

Or garage, you know, if they couldn't afford the extra square footage. Dang...that just got me to thinking how hot it would be living in my own garage. I barely go in there to do the laundry with this freakin heat wave.

. And yeah, he does look like Gimly.

I listened to Aris' MK podcast a few days ago. I think he was taking an honest look at the game from his perspective. It's his opinion. The gripes he has with MK don't really matter much to me since I'm not a high level tournament player...I'm a casual through an through. His argument is that the tournament scene for MK is dying down...I can't argue that since I'm not part of that scene.

Anyway, I enjoy the game, play online (which has improved more or less), and could care less what these pro fighting game guys have to say. There's no need to take personal shots at the guy for expressing his opinion folks...very sad.

Trust me I didn't listen to him and came here rushing to bash him. That thing is that , T6 ha been dying ever since it was released . Sure there is a scene for it but it has been small. Why doesnt he complain about that ? In another stream u heard the narrator saying that MK has got mire players than the other game which u believe was MvC3 , why doesn't he complain about MvC3 dying out ? Why does he complain about MK9 if he hates that much ? He even went far and just claim that the game is hated from the pro level players.

It is just annoying Red5iver, I hope you got my point.

MKO has never been about gameplay.

MKO has always been about forming cliques around useless characters and yelling at Ed Boon over Twitter when he doesn't include them in every game.

Also, talking about Mortal Kombat. Sometimes.

ErmaSco, the creator of THIS thread about bashing this game here on this forum, is now creating a thread to complain about some guy from another forum who bashes the game?

TC being the same guy who was also here a day or two ago claiming insider knowledge about the 4th DLC character in order to get attention?

Why did you decide to run to another forum and talk about someone behind their back anyways? Hoping to get more attention by getting a bunch of people to agree with you on the less gameplay-orientated forums?

Whoa, sorry guys.No racism intended. I just don't care for Aris much (and he happens to be Maxican I believe.). I should have used the word "guys" instead of Mexicans. Was just trying to imply that you would really have to narrow the field down for him to win a tournament (As in be the only guy there basically) Maybe I was a bit harsh on him, but since that rant vid of him going at Hector Sanches and telling him they could never make a good and balanced game I just have no time for him.

Sorry I am only replaying now but I don't have internet access over most weekends. I have never even met a Mexican, but if I did I would have a word with them about inventing Tequila and giving me so many painfull hangovers.
