Am I the only one who is pissed that the Vita gets exclusive alternates?

Like, what the hell? I spent $20 on DLC, expecting alternates. But NRS gives them to the Vita? Fuck that!

So? Don't buy one then! I'm sure as hell not. Anyone who buys a whole new system just for a few more pallette swaps is a grade-A sucker...especially someone who, by his own admission, doesn't even want to do it! No one has a gun to your head.

The only other costumes I'd want would be alts for the DLC characters, and MK2 Mileena (who, admittedly, probably should've been in the console versions to begin with). The MK3 spandex ninja look, on the other hand, was always horrible. It works on unmasked Sub-Zero because its a radically different look and it helps him stand out. But MK3 Scorpion, masked Zero, etc....no thanks.

Console versions should get the extra alts. Having them exclusive to psvita makes no sense.

About them creating it exclusively for vita is a bunch of bullshit. They ported the console versions, therefore they needed to be made from the original version.

I don't understand why they wouldn't put the extra costumes as DLC, don't you want more profits? Hell SSFIV made alts for every character after a year the game was released. Not saying it wa free but the game was still supported.

This isn't a charity service, most of this content has to be paid for by the people, WB and NRS are a business out to make money.....and I paid money for Skarlet, Kenshi, and Rain...so yes I want those alternates.




Heaven forbid anybody wants these retro or alternate costumes, how dare they want them for their game, they paid 60-100 + and DLC costs too for their game too, "those whiney, ungrateful people" lol please.

lol, you can play as Shao Kahn, although it looks like it's only in the Challenge Tower, I'm more disappointed at that than the alternate costumes.

Mortal Kombat on vita will be playable at Vita Hill social clubs in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, and San Francisco on the 24th of Febuary.

I want those UMK3 costumes so bad. Even if the masks are different. Those are seriously the only Klassic Skins I cared about when the game launched. Those costumes = my childhood. I want them.


But I'm not buying this game.

W,E-Yeah, you know the DLC you guys were planning on releasing, yeah, the rest of that is going to be on the psvita. Sony wants a reason for people to buy that version over the console counterparts.

W,E- Listen, we already thought of that. Wait about 4 months or so and release the rest of the DLC from the vita version on the consoles but make them pay money this time around. We found a loop hole and sony won't ever know and its a win win. And you know the fans will buy it, cause most will say, its better late then not at all.

You know, I'm not really bothered by the Vita getting these exclusives.

I am bothered, however, at NRS talking and talking and promising and promising how great the DLC experience was going to be for everyone.....yeah, right.

A billion pallet swap costumes for ONLY the ninjas.
Downloadable Fatalities ONLY for the ninjas.
"Incomplete" DLC mk characters (no alt costumes, no voices, etc).
And a character that has nothing to do with MK.

The U.K release date for MK on Vita has been confirmed as April 27th! (Havent seen that posted anywhere)

I cannot wait, the Vita is an incredible machine and the extras in this edition of MK will make me play MK again. It's been a while since I touched it on my PS3.
Just to throw my 2 cents into the arguement of the console Komplete addition... I find the extras on the Vita version fair. The Komplete version on PS3 and XB is exactly that, its the complete version of the game which was available on those systems. Oh and Queve, thats a lovely sig ^^
