"But suddenly my nerves blazed like fire and a breath of air filled my lungs for the first time since my death. I lost consciousness almost immediately. When I awoke, I stared at my hands and noticied that my hands were made of living flesh again. I knew I was alive.'

"As I wandered the Academy, I saw that almost all of my Shaolin brothers had been murdered by my corporal form. All this death and destruction was all because of me... their blood is on my hands. I've been used to kill, to cause destruction. I feel... different. All my life I've been fighting for the "greater good", but now I'm on a personal mission. I will find the one who reanimated me... and no matter what, no matter who, they will pay for killing my name!"

Raiden

"The mortals have torn their own realm apart. It is the greed of mortals that brings about threat after threat. The greed of the Lin Kuei nearly led to the destruction of Earth. Shujinko's vanity and ego led to the Dragon King's return. Well, I have had enough. Earthrealm must be relinquished of any that would put it in danger. Shujinko will be the first to suffer the wrath of the new God of Thunder.'

"I investigated the Wu Shi Academy, where the stench of death reeked. It was there I saw two Liu Kangs engaged in Mortal Kombat. I blasted both of them with my powers of lightning, this fused them back into one being. The destruction had stopped at the Wu Shi Academy.'

"I have learned that Fujin has travelled to Outworld to lead the assault on Onaga's palace, but Fujin is weak, incapable of defending Earth. After I have shown him the errors of his ways by trusting the mortals, I shall see to it that no danger shall threaten Earth again."


Comments:

Liu Kang: Well, it's similar to my Armaggedon storyline, but I've got quite a different twist intended for Liu...

Raiden: Best I could think of. This time, Raiden won't become the One Being, but expect a Raiden/Fujin confrontation soon.

Liu Kang: This is definitely a different path than his stories in a lot of the other games. I think I know what twist you're talking about, and I'd like to see how far you'll go with it.

Raiden: This is pretty good and does indeed set up for an eventual Raiden/Fujin conflict. I wonder what else you'll do with him.

Sareena

"Sub-Zero had offered me sanctuary with the Lin Kuei, I accepted his offer and travelled to Earthrealm. When he finally returned, he told me of what had happened. He told me what had become of his older brother: the Sub-Zero that I knew. Once he opposed the Brotherhood of Shadow, but now... he's become a part of it. Worst yet, he plans on ruling the dreaded realm.'

"Now I must go back. Perhaps I can convince him to stop what he is doing... it's a longshot, but I have to try."

Noob Saibot
First Appearance: MK1
Origin: Earthrealm
Alignment: Evil

"Once I was a Lin Kuei assassin named Sub-Zero. I killed. I killed without mercy. But I never thought much of it. To me, I was simply doing my job. It didn't go over too well with the ninja spectre, Scorpion. But I really should thank him if I ever see him again. Because of him, I've realized my true destiny.'

"The Lin Kuei assassin known as Sub-Zero is no more. Now I will rule one realm. No longer will I be a servant. I am my own master now. If my brother returns, I shall show him no mercy. Soon every denizen in the Netherrealm will bow before me and my legion of demon cyborgs will instill fear into my enemies. Soon all will learn why the name of Noob Saibot is a name to fear."


My comments:

Sareena: Yeah... pretty straightforward, I know... no Ashrah/Sareena interaction is disappointing, but it'll come eventually... in MK8... yeah... I wanted to make her bio longer, but I ran out of words...

Noob Saibot: Well... there are some big plans in store for good old Noob. (People won't fear the name, they'll only be laughing at how stupid it is. ) This is definitately not Noob's last game.

Sareena: pretty short..kind of shorter than I hoped for...but it leads somewhere I like at least...

Noob Saibot: pretty good stuff; sounds like you really got into character with each of these bios; glad you mentioned Scorpion and Sub-Zero

Tanya

"I had found the information that Onaga desired. But now... I believe that the time has come for me to become my own master. I have since learned that Kitana is now free from Onaga's control, Mileena remains posing as her in Edenia while Sindel and Jade continue to travel Outworld. In my travels, I discovered a former warrior from Shao Kahn and like me, a traitor to my homeland of Edenia: Rain.'

"He had gone into hiding after Shao Kahn's defeat at the hands of Liu Kang. He longs to walk about freely in Edenia like me, but we can't because of current status as traitors. It is then that I've conducted a simple, but effective scheme: I've recruited several Edenians who are dissatisfied with the rule of Sindel and Kitana, they are tired of the constant wars and just want to leave in peace. I've promised them that peace in exchange for their assistance.'

"I shall take what followers we have and once we find Kitana, we shall kidnap her, at the same time, Rain shall sneak into Edenia's castle and there he will murder Mileena, making sure to take her head so that her Tarkatan teeth are never discovered, thus leaving the people of Edenia to believe that Kitana has been murdered. Is is then that we shall bring Kitana back to Edenia, and pass her off as Mileena, claiming that she is the one who killed "Kitana". Kitana will then be hanged in front of her own people and Rain and I shall walk away as the new King and Queen of Edenia."

Rain
First Appearance: UMK3
Origin: Edenia
Alignment: Evil

"After Shao Kahn's defeat, I was forced into hiding, I dare not return to Edenia, for I know that I would be imprisoned or hanged for my betrayel. I have no regrets though, I don't care about what happened to my father, I fought for my own survival, nothing else mattered to me. After many years of hiding in Outworld, I was discovered by Tanya, who recognized me almost immediately.'

"I attacked her, but she assured me that she did not intend to fight. Instead, she proposed an alliance to allow us both to return to Edenia and walk freely once more. She will kidnap Kitana, while I am to sneak into Edenia Palace, there I am to decapitate Mileena and take the head with me as I make my escape. I cannot afford to be seen by anyone, if I am caught then our plan is a failure.'

"After I kill Mileena, Tanya wants me to track Outworld for Jade and Sindel, and murder them as well. If they are left alive, they could endanger our rule of Edenia after Kitana and Mileena are disposed of. Once all who stand in our way are disposed of, Tanya and I shall become the new King and Queen of Edenia."


Comments:

Tanya: I know.... I don't like Tanya either, but I actually managed to come up with a really good plot for her. And while some of you may be thinking that this makes Tanya into a sympathetic character, let me assure you that it doesn't: they're planning on murdering no less than 4 people to achieve their goals and not only that, but they won't to rule Edenia rather than just be accepted back into the realm and be relinquished as traitors.

Rain: I know I did the "Rain is good" sceanario last time, but I feel that now Rain's better off as a bad guy. We don't really have any evil Edenians besides Tanya. (Mileena doesn't count) Hence the reason that Rain is evil.

"Sindel and I have journeyed to find a way to free Kitana from Onaga's control. Only to have learned that somebody has already achieved that goal for us as our brief meeting with the ninja known as Ermac, he told us that Kitana has been freed from Onaga's control. He did not know, however, where Kitana's current whereabouts are.'

"We thanked him for this information and we set out to find Kitana, but during our search, we were attacked by an old face, the traitor known as Rain. We fought back, but Rain possessed the upper hand. I demanded to know his intentions and he revealed them: a mistake that will cost him. We know of his and Tanya's plot to kill both Kitana and Mileena and take the throne of Edenia for themselves. We allowed him to think that he had killed us and after he had left, we knew that finding Kitana was more important than ever."

Sindel
First Appearance: MK3
Origin: Edenia
Alignment: Good

"Thanks to the ninja known as Ermac, I have learned that my daughter, Kitana is safe and freed from Onaga's control. Jade and I set out in search of her, I was desperate to reunite with her after months of just sitting on the sidelines while she fought Shao Kahn's army.'

"But I have learned of a horrifying and disgusting plot conducted by the two traitors, Tanya and Rain, to kill my daughter in front of her own people and take the throne of Edenia. Now Jade and I are on a race against time to find Kitana before Tanya does. I will not let anything happen to my daughter. I abandoned her once, but I won't do it again. I shall die if I have to. And then hopefully, once this is all over, Edenia can finally enjoy the peace it deserves."


Jade: Yeah... I know Rain's bio said that he was going after Mileena first, but you could say that on his way to kill Mileena, he saw Jade and Sindel and decided to just kill them now. And... I haven't forgotten about Jade's hatred for Tanya.

Sindel: Well yeah... I admit she and Jade have the same basic story, but... if your daughter/best friend's life was in danger. Wouldn't you drop everything and try to save her?

"After my defeat at the hands of Sub-Zero, I managed to escape to Japan. Sub-Zero robbed me of the leadership of the Lin Kuei, but no matter. Soon he will learn just what a mistake it was by not finishing me when he had the chance.'

"My new clan of cyborg ninjas will be the ultimate assassins, no mercy, no compassion. We will kill because it is our purpose. And as a "thank you" gift, I shall see to it that Sub-Zero is the first to die at the ends of the Tekunin clan. We have currently tracked him to the Netherrealm, where he is there, I do not know or care. I myself have departed for the Netherrealm, this is a personal mission. Soon Sub-Zero shall know the power of the Tekunin!"

Darrius
First Appearance: MK:D
Origin: Orderrealm
Alignment: Neutral

"Our time has come. We shall liberate Seido from this oppressive regime and instill a new order, one that is just and fair. The Seidan government claims that we are bringing chaos, but that is nothing more than propaganda.'

"Dairou is taking too long, he should've killed Hotaru by now. Something is wrong here. If Dairou doesn't steal the Declaration then the rebellion will fail. Perhaps Dairou has learned the truth?"

Comments:

Sektor: Well... I thought about it and decided of the three cyborgs ninjas, Cyrax was the only one who was in MK:DA, Smoke was the only one who was in MK:D, so Sektor will be the only one who's in MK:DH! Look for some big things for Sektor soon.

Darrius: Fairly simple, but with him knowing that Dairou might've learned the truth, I'm sure he'll try to think of a plan to stop Dairou to to convince him that the death of his family was a necessary evil. You'll see...

Whew... that's 10 secret character so far... I don't know how many more I'll do, probably at the most 18. But anyway, here we go.

Shao Kahn

"Once I was the Emperor of Outworld, but now... I'm in a pitiful state, hiding in a forest and still weak from my defeat at the hands of the Earthrealm warriors. But my strength is soon to be fully restored. With Goro and his army of Shokan by my side, I shall soon retake what is mine.'

"Goro and I investigated Shang Tsung's destroyed palace, it is there that we found Shang Tsung, very weak and barely alive. Although I am very well aware of his little "Deadly Alliance", and I should've just finished him off for all it was worth, but one must take the future into account and having a sorcerer could be useful in the coming days. I told Shang Tsung that as long as he serves me, he gets to keep his life. Onaga's time has come, soon all will bow before Shao Kahn once again!"

Shang Tsung
First Appearance: MK1
Origin: Earthrealm/Outworld
Alignment: Evil

"My alliance with Quan Chi had proved successful, Raiden and the forces of light had all fallen before us, but my partner turned on me. We fought, but I underestimated his power, but I found myself once again fighting alongside the bastard when Onaga emerged. Even with Raiden's aid, our combined power was not enough.'

"Raiden's blast would've killed me had I not thought quickly. I managed to release all of the souls I had possessed to act as a shield, but this came with a price, though I had survived: my powers were weakening, I needed souls and fast, otherwise I would die. But now... I think that death might've been the better option... now I've been forced back into Shao Kahn's service... as long as I serve him faithfully and without question, I stay alive. I accept only because I am in need of souls. But I know the truth, no matter what happens, Shao Kahn's ego-driven stupidity will cost us absolute victory once again. I can only wait for my opportunity for power to rise again."


My comments:

Shao Kahn: Yeah, he's back. (Goro's still involved in the story, but he's not a playable character) And after this game, he'll become the primary villian once again. Not much else to say really...

Shang Tsung: Basically, Shang Tsung's been forced back into Shao Kahn's service, and he doesn't like it one bit... he's back to his original role... for now at least...

Rain: So you took him on the evil path, huh? His bio is kind of like Tanya's with a bit extra, I suppose. Perhaps you could've added a bit more by sort of giving his take on Kitana and maybe some others...Overall, not bad though...

Jade: It's rather simplistic, and I would've liked more...

Sektor: This one was ok. I would've liked to have had some bigger plot development here to buld things up.

"I had made my move to seize control of the Lin Kuei from Sub-Zero. He had let his guard down and I took the Dragon Medallion from him. I could feel its power coursing through me! That is the last thing I remember before I awoke in this tomb, surronded by frozen corpses. I must still be in Outworld. The medallion is gone. No doubt Sub-Zero took it from me and left me here to die. He will pay dearly.'

"I returned to the Lin Kuei Temple, thinking it my best chance to find him, where I received word that Sub-Zero had only just left. They mentioned something about him going to the "Netherrealm". I will follow him to the ends of the earth if I have to, but I will make him pay!"

Shinnok
First Appearance: MKM:SZ
Origin: The Heavens
Alignment: Evil

"Victory would've been mine. I had Raiden at my mercy and Liu Kang had been stunned. But my amulet stopped working, it was then that I realized the truth. My amulet was a useless imitation. How could I have been so blind? Quan Chi had always possessed the real amulet. My powers were weakened and Liu Kang was able to weaken me enough so that Raiden could once again send me back to the Netherrealm, this time into the lowest reaches where I could not even rule the dreaded realm. It seemed as though my dreams of conquest were over.'

"But I've managed to find yet another chance. I spotted a shaman wandering through the Netherrealm, and he was drawing a symbol inside a cave. I followed him and released that he had been intending to bind someone's soul to the Netherrealm, mustering my own incantation, I used this symbol as a way to escape the Netherrealm. Now I know that the first thing I must do is find my amulet and retake it from whomever possesses it now.'

"As I travel, I often wonder if I'll encounter Liu Kang... or at least... what's left of him. Though I was trapped in the Netherrealm, I could still see the events that transpired in Earthrealm. I witnessed Liu Kang's death and was able to cast a spell on his corspe, this reanimated him and without a soul, Liu Kang's body was reanimated as a mindless zombie. The perfect revenge. Once I have my amulet back, I'll see to it that the Elder Gods pay for their ungrateful betrayel. For if it were not me, we would never have defeated the One Being."


Frost: Yeah. I pretty much copied her MK:U bio for the first part of it. Since it's pretty much what I want for Frost anyway. And if you've seen my other storylines, you know who Frost is gonna meet up with... poor Sub-Zero.... Noob Saibot, Mavado, Sektor and now Frost all want to kill him... poor guy just can't catch a break can he?

Shinnok: Yep, it was Shinnok who Nightwolf accidently released. And I think Shinnok is also the most likely culprit who reanimated Liu Kang's body, and.... I also think it's an interesting concept to have him be the Elder God who led the others to defeating the One Being.

Hmm... very good work there. Shinnok being the one who reanimated Kang's corpse? Pretty unexpected for me.

Kai
First Appearance: MK4
Origin: Earthrealm
Alignment: Good

"I thought I wanted to be a Shaolin Warrior, but I was wrong. The life that my friend, Liu Kang had to lead because of his responsibilites forced me to reconsider. So I decided to go in search of myself. I've been travelling for many years now and still, I feel empty.'

"All that changed when one day, the God of Wind, Fujin appeared before me and told me of all that had transpired, my friend Liu Kang had been killed and Kung Lao was still in Outworld, preparing to do battle with the Dragon King. In honor of Liu Kang, I too join this fight. Perhaps now I will find the answers that I have been searching for."

Khameleon
First Appearance: MKT
Origin: Zaterra
Alignment: Neutral

"I am the last female Zaterra. My race was slowly destroyed by Shao Kahn, only two survive: myself and Reptile. But Reptile has been forced time and time again into serving an evil master, and now... I know that his body is being used as the vessel for Onaga. After years of searching, I have finally found him once again.'

"I encountered him once before during Shao Kahn's invasion of Earth, I told him of the genocide that Shao Kahn had committed to our race, but before he and I could stop Shao Kahn, he was defeated by Earth's warriors and Reptile and I were seperated. Now I have finally found him once again, except I will have to deal with Onaga in order to get him back. Though Onaga may be in control of Reptile's body, I believe that deep down Reptile is trying to fight his way out."

Comments:

Kai: Well... I decided to bring him back after thinking that I did not have enough secret characters (or ones that debuted in MK4... heh) and I thought that of all the MK4 new characters, he was probably one of the few who could they do more with. (Maybe Reiko too... but I don't know if he'll return)

Khameleon: Yes, it is similar to XiahouDun84's original Khameleon storyline from before Armaggedon was announced, but what else do you think Khameleon would be doing?

First two endings!

Scorpion

Filled with doubt and an uncertainity in the world, Scorpion finally confronted Onaga. Their battle was fierce, but it became clear that Scorpion had obtained the upper hand. In the moment of defeat, Onaga became to plead, he was aware of Scorpion's status as a spectre and made him an offer that the ninja spectre would tempted to accept: he would give him back his life.

Scorpion was indeed tempted, but he looked deep into his tormented soul. A life without his wife and child was undesirable and unbearable. And wasting no more time, Scorpion finished off the Dragon King, ending his reign of terror once and for all.

His mission accomplished, Scorpion was summonded back to the Elder Gods, who commended him for his victory. Scorpion asked if he could be allowed to see his family, at least for a short while. But the Elder Gods told him that as long as he was their Champion, he could not be allowed to rest in the Heavens. But a compromise was made, if Scorpion could complete three tasks for them, his soul would be allowed to rest in the Heavens. The first had already been completed. Now Scorpion works for a different goal, rather than revenge, he will fight for honor... the honor of his family.

Sub-Zero

With Sareena by his side, Sub-Zero returned to the Netherrealm, determined to put a stop to his brother's plans. Sub-Zero made one attempt to try to convince his brother to abandon his plans and remind him of who he once was. But Saibot refused to listen, thus the battle between the two brothers began.

The battle between the two brothers was fierce, but it quickly became clear who was the superior warrior. Sub-Zero found himself unable to keep up with Saibot's attacks, and found himself on the verge of defeat.

Sub-Zero was thrown from the ledge, but as luck would have it, he managed to safely land on a lower ledge, but he was unable to help Sareena, who remained on the battlefield. Left with little choice, Sub-Zero made the heartwrenching decision to retreat.
(Noob Saibot is looking down at Sub-Zero, who is now retreating, his face is filled with shame.)

Comments:

Scorpion: Well, I decided that in order to move Scorpion away from the revenge story, he had to have a different goal, and now he has one, perform three tasks (the first of which was to kill Onaga which he already did) and his soul will be allowed to reunite with his family in the heavens. I wanted to bring back the more honorable Scorpion.

Sub-Zero: Subby had been winning a lot of fights lately, so it was time to show that he's not invincible and it makes things more interesting to have Noob be the better fighting of the two. (Hey, he is the older brother.) And no... before anyone starts yelling at me... Sareena has not been killed, she's just been captured by Noob Saibot, she's not out of the story yet. She'll be back in MK8. But somebody had to be left behind... and I didn't want to kill anyone off yet.

Crap... I wish I hadn't wrote that about Sareena... because now I'll have nothing to write when I get to the comments about her ending. ^^;;;

Fujin

I led what warriors I could find to the palace of Onaga, though I had a self-doubt on my leadership abilities. We were without Raiden, who's wisdom I could never hope to replicate and Liu Kang, who's heroism and courage is dearly missed. We began our assault on the Dragon King.

The Dragon King was intimidating, but I managed to keep their spirits high and ultimately, after a long peroid of turmoil, sorrow, and despair, our ultimate enemy had been defeated: Onaga was dead.

With our goal completed, we returned to Earth. And after a long peroid of war, Earth's defenders could finally enjoy the rest and peace that they deserved. With our victory over the Dragon King complete, I now feel confident and secure in my role as the protector of Earthrealm.

Shujinko

Shujinko had long been bordering upon himself a sense of guilt and responsibility. Onaga had manipulated him since he was a child. He spent his whole life serving a great evil. Now was the time for Onaga to pay for his actions. This time, Shujinko would finish Onaga off.

This time, Shujinko managed to find sufficent power to defeat Onaga, charging forward, he and Onaga fought with a vicious clash, with his new power Shujinko tore through Onaga's defenses and left him mortally wounded.

However, Shujinko's battle had left him strained and weak. He collapsed onto the ground. Fatally injured, Shujinko reflected back on his life, his family, his friend, his regrets, his memories all played before him. Shujinko died peacefully, knowing that he had redeemed himself for stopping Onaga.

Comments:

Fujin: I wanted to have just step into his own shoes and finally earn his status as Earth's protector. Not much to say here....

Shujinko: Yeah, he dies. Though... at least he wasn't murdered by Raiden.

Well here's more endings:

Kung Lao

Kung Lao was the first to discover the body of his friend Liu Kang laying on the Lei Tai of the Wu Shi Academy grounds. Ever since Liu Kang's death, Kung Lao had been wondering if he should perhaps take Liu Kang's place as the defender of Earthrealm, but the life of a Mortal Kombat champion was undesirable to Kung Lao, but the proud warrior decided that he had little choice.

When the battle with Onaga came, Kung Lao stepped forward and prepared to step into Liu Kang's shoes. He shocked his allies, when he requested that he fight alone. He fought with a fierce determination, he believed that he was confident, he believed he was ready... but his head was lying to his heart. He was not ready, and his defeat by Onaga proved it more than ever.

Kung Lao now felt more guilt than before, his reckless behavior had nearly cost them their last chance for victory. Things were only made worse when his allies scolded him for his supposed selfishness, the worst blow came when Sonya scolded him: "You are no Liu Kang!" she shouted. Ashamed and disgraced, Kung Lao returned to the Wu Shi Academy feeling more isolated and alone than ever.

Kabal

Kabal's new Black Dragon was nearly ready. The clan's headquarters had been set up and new recruits relentlessly poured in. Soon, all enemies of the Black Dragon would be crushed.

Kabal tracked down Mavado, who had made his way back to Earthrealm to inform his clan of the new Black Dragon, the two then fought one last time... But Kabal desired to show Mavado the power of the new Black Dragon, what he would've been facing should he have reached his clan. The mass number of Black Dragon members emerged from the shadows and Mavado was quickly surrounded.
(Around Kabal and Mavado, the Black Dragon army surrond them. On Mavado's face is an expression of shock and little fear)

Mavado was quickly overwhelmed and killed by the Black Dragon, the clan he had spent so much of his life trying to exterminate. With his nemesis finally dead, Kabal set forward to spread his new ararchy throughout the world.

Kung Lao: Well... I admit it's not exactly fair to poor Kung Lao, but I think it would make for an interesting development to have him gaining confidence, but something like this happens and Kung Lao is now more unconfident than ever. Better development that way, I think.

Kabal: Well... let's just say that this is more than likely going to be non-canon.... hehe.

Yeah, poor Kung Lao...

Sounds good so far...

Frost: Well, it was simple, but it of course leads to more, which is good.

Shinnok: very good stuff here

Kai: simple in a good way; leads up to something, which is nice

Khameleon: glad you did a bio for her; pretty good stuff

Endings

Scorpion: pretty good stuff; I'm quite pleased with the detail you put into it

Sub-Zero: not too bad; leads up to future battles and all

Fujin: not too bad

Shujinko: pretty good ending; glad you went in the direction of having him die in his ending since there really isn't any potential for him in the next-gen MK games

Kung Lao: interesting direction you took with this one; btw, it's spelled Lei Tai

Kabal: expected; not too bad
