I have my doubts about Alien. But if they manage to make it work, I want a fully-functional, quadrupedal Motaro in their next game. Hah.

I'm keeping my guesses conservative. Sindel, Rain, Baraka, and Fujin. Simply because they have less work to do on them than another character from scratch. It's easier and the requests are there, so *shrug*.

Hopefully we get some gameplay footage.

I mean seriously though - one punch from any kombatant ends the round with a fatality. Alien wins. That acid blood ain't a joke.

I didn't see putting 2 guests in one pack being viable but it happened. And NRS is not above more guests. I think the opportunity for AVP might be too good to pass up and would certainly get buzz back into the game for casual players.

The Alien is too different body wise. All males share the same body, as do the females. The Alien is a totally different beast. Either it's going to look real off or they'll put in a lot of work to give him his own skeleton that doesn't break when fighting the other models. I just don't think it's doable.

Or if they do, then a story pack with Alien seems most plausible, as Alien would take about 80% of the development time.

But Boon has hinted and trolled with the Alien so much that I don't think it's going to be him.

I won't be surprised if there's another guest, but I'm 100% sure it won't be the Alien.

Since Kano is my only main that made the transition to MKX I'm hoping for Cyrax, Rain, Stryker and Noob Saibot, but there's no way that's happening.

As someone who's always been on the side of the fence that like/don't mind guest characters, having another guest as dlc for this game would be overkill for me.

I'm keeping my expectations very low for this so as long as Fujin is in there, I'm happy. Wont make the same mistake again and get overly hyped like i did with the base roster lol.

More wishful thinking on my part, but I kinda hope that they include an original character in the pack, like one guest (which I think they're going to do), one classic, one story, one original.

If they didn't do Freddy vs Jason, they won't do Alien vs Predator. As people have pointed out, the Alien would be waaaaay too hard to implement in the game because of its peculiar shape. If they won't do Motaro, they won't do Alien.

I may be completely wrong as I can barely recall the build up to MKX, but didn't Boon only "hint" on Twitter at 2 characters that were actually revealed? Those being Goro and Reptile. So it's likely his Alien tweets are just him doing what he always does, trolling his fans.

Yeah and you know they regret not doing Freddy vs. Jason. So maybe this is their chance to right thÃat wrong by putting in Alien. And I put nothing past NRS when it comes to making money. They could find a way to make Alien work if they really wanted to.

And I wouldn't necessarily call it a serious oversight. I definitely don't doubt all future NRS games will have some form of guest character, but seeing as this game already has 2 guests... I don't know. I'm still leaning towards to "they're not going to put Alien in the game" camp. I'm adamant at this point that the silhouettes were telling us who KP2 will have.

Alien just isn't going to happen. It's too difficult for them to model. They already outright admitted they wanted to give Reptile a tail and just couldn't get it to work right.

If the previous given picture where four characters' shadows were shown is true then I can easily claim that The Queen Sindel will finally RETURN !!!

I must be in the minority here but I won't be disappointed, even if my assessment of the silhouettes is wrong. I'm just happy to have more characters to play as and it means that MKX in Evo next year should have a bit more freshness to it. Sure, I'd trade Bo' Rai Cho for pretty much any other MK character, but I'm still excited to see what they've done with him overall.

But yeah, highly doubt Rain is coming back unless they release him as a standalone after KP2.

Their excuse will be KP2 was unplanned. Rain should've been in at launch so I have no doubt they'll put him in now.
