Game Informer MK: Deadly Alliance preview in June issue!
The June 2002 issue of Game Informer Magazine, in a continued effort of bringing exclusive information to it's readers, will feature another preview of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. The article will feature information on two new characters. One will be a female character with a very revealing outfit , the other a combatant who has yet to be announced. Also there will be an image of Malvado and Blind Kenshi battling it out. The June issue should be hitting newsstands approximately in two weeks.

Thanks to Ivan Georgiev who brought to our attention a forum post made by subzero1022 that got this update rolling!

Three New Pictures on MK:DA Website!
Following the trend of Friday updates, the official Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance website has updated with three new images, two of them screenshots! The first picture is a pencilled storyboard detailing the origins of Blind Kenshi. The second image is a mid-fight screenshot of Shang Tsung uppercutting Scorpion. The third image is a closeup of Sub-Zero previously seen in the Game Informer article. From the pose and the energy bars above, one can assume that this may be one of his win poses.

Kung Lao makes his return in MK: Deadly Alliance.
In the June 2002 issue of Gamepro magazine you can find a small preview of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.  The article contains a few Playstation 2 screenshots, some of which have already been seen in the Game Informer cover story.  However, what has drawn our attention is one particular in-game shot of previous contender Kung Lao duking it out with newcomer Blind Kenshi. This is the first indication we have received that Kung Lao will be in the game. Due to copyright laws we will not be posting a scan of this article, so head on over to your local bookstore if interested in seeing it.
Two New images released at Official MK:DA Website
The Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance website has just updated with two new pictures for our viewing pleasure. The first picture is an update of the screenshot of Jax and Scorpion having it out, this time using their new models. This also appears to be an in-game shot, though without the energy bars and timer. The other is a collage of drawings of Blind Kenshi, along the lines of the previously seen Moloch and Kitana drawings.

We are Back.. again!
Sorry for being out during the weekend. As you have probably noticed we have been having some problems keeping online the past couple of weeks. As our site has grown in popularity we have been having problems with handling all the bandwidth. However issues with bandwidth are not why we were down this weekend. We were busy moving to a new dedicated server so we can handle all of the traffic that has been pouring in. With being on this dedicated server we should no longer have downtime and we will finally get around to updating our Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance section in the coming week.

So once again, welcome back to MK5.org and enjoy your stay!
