th first sub was older (the mk1 sub, and he was 32) and the mk2 tourney happened like a year after that (lets say mk2 sub, who's the reigning subby lol....is 30) 9 years after that he's 39 and being a warrior for saving realms is stressful, its quite possible for him to have grey hair. hell, he buff with no wrinkles!

the eldest sub-zero was in mkm:s-z, mk1, mkt and i think umk3, the younger one is in all the others, and so far no one is 100% possitive about the eldest sub-zero's age, and the reason the youngest sub-zero looks like he is 50 is because of the dragon amulet

Well, there were 2 Sub-Zero brothers. The elder Sub-Zero brother was in MKM: SZ which occured years before MK1. In MK1, elder Sub-Zero entered Shang Tsung's tournament. In MK2, the Lin Kuei send Sub-Zero's younger brother also named Sub-Zero. Now as for why the younger brother looks older (and noob_sareena mentioned this) is because younger Sub-Zero had to sacrifice his youth in order to wield the power of the Dragon Medallion.
