He said haha because you can't get uppercut, jump kick, and several low punches in anything like a 'combo.'

EDIT: But if you look at the MK2 combo video that was posted (link is somewhere on the forums) made by Konqrr you can see how insane the combos do get.

I can remember me about some ridiculously "Combos" from a FAQ where things like you told were written.

The definition of a Combo in Fighting games:
A quick series of attacks that CANT be blocked (If the game doesnt have something like a Combobreaker) by the opponent.

So things like "Give the opponent and Uppercut, than some HP,s and Finish him off with a Roundhousekick" isnt a Combo, its not even a way to beat the CPU (Maybe on very easy and the first fight).
Thats why I writen "hahah" (I was laughting for real).

that reminds me of a similar combo that is equally effective. it's where you throw yourself onto the joystick and repeatedly slam your face into the buttons. ( works best on arcade version)

That sounds like how I played Street Fighter Alpha back in the day...
