Hello, new here, I have a few questions concerining MKT and UMK3. Or Kuestions... *shot*

Anyways, I was planning to get MKTrilogy just for some classic action on a console. Which version is better, the PS1 or the N64 version? Or should I forget about MKT entirely and just buy an old genesis and UMK3?

And speaking of UMK3, I used to have it for the genesis. And I could have sworn in the options menu the ability to change te level of blood.

I always kept it off back then because I was young and thought it was too "gross" or "scary" (yet I enjoyed the fatality slideshow...except for Nightwolf's beam from the sky. That scared the crud out of me when I was little)

ANYWAYS, the point is, I could have sworn there being options like "pints", "buckets", "gallons", etc. I recently downloaded the rom for nostolgia's sake and all it has are "on" or "off". Anyone know what's up?

And in case your wondering why I would consider UMK3 when I have the rom, I really prefer playing games on their original console (unless there's a port, in which case I'll settle for that) It has a strange feel using a keyboard and the multiplayer aspect is much better on a console.

Thanks for the help. :)

If you have to choose between UMK3 for Genesis, MKT for PSX and MKT for N64 buy MKT for PSX, its the most sense choice. And make sure you get the normall version not the broken one.

Never heard of that Blood thing you talk about and i think its not in any version of genesis UMK3, except maybe some hacked rom/cartridge.
to clarify, which one is the broken one? cause i have the greatest hits version.

Thanks

I'll second that. Just get MKT (Greatest Hits) for PS1, there is no need for anything else.

Long story short, it beats the n64 version in the most important categories - gameplay accuracy, and the amount of characters. Even superficial things like graphics and sound are significantly better.
