I just thought of this: some game refrences hint that Liu Kang is a decandant of the original Kung Lao, which is wierd because Kung Lao is said to be the last known decandant. My question is: Doesn't that make Kang and Lao related. (plz respond, this question really stumps me)confusedconfused

Liu Kand is not related to Kung Lao. the reconed Liu being the desendant of the original Kung Lao.

Well if they are both related to the original Kung Lao then they are both related arn't they?

As Asmodeus explained above, they are not both related to the original Kung Lao. Liu Kang was in MK1, but this was overwritten, as they introduced the present Kung Lao as his descendant.

They are his ancestors but they are not blood related, but much more like a xcarrier of the great Kung Laos legacy. besides, if i recall correctly the shaolins doesn't really care about the blood relations, rather than about their brotherhood.
