We are fans and notice every single detail of the games.

I still did not download mine, but i am curious about some things.

Is this just a port of MK1 (from Deception), MK2 (from Shaolin Monks) and UMK3 (Armageddon Premium) ?

Is there music in the Palace Gates arena in MK1? In the PS2 version it was very low.

In MK2, can we fight Smoke? In previous versions the Start Button paused the game.

The game save the secret characters in UMK3?. Also that bug of stage looping over and over, still persists right?

Yes the Palace Gates music is back(FINALLY)

I don't know about Smoke. Didn't fight him yet.

Yes the characters are saved.

Somewhat better than MAT(Midway Arcade Treasures)

All of the bugs you just mentioned aren't in this game.

If select is the pause button and not start, then the Smoke fight is bound to be in there.

Well I bought mine and here are some changes and bugs this time

In MK1 there are kind of new sound effects, specially when an uppercut is done.

There is a new sound in Test your Might Bonus. Also the people yelling sounded different.

The terrible thing in MK1 was that the Endurance Round in Goro's Lair and the Goro Battle had no music. All silent.

The ending music also restarts over and over and that is different from the arcade music.

MK2 is the worst of three. Delayed sound effects, trouble in the Attract Mode presentation.

And UMK3 its still the same. The 4 backgrounds repeats over and over and its never possible to fight in the original MK3 arenas.

Sounds horrible. How can you have Goro's classic music in MK9 but not in the original? How is that even possible?

Every game plays perfectly and exactly like the arcades.

Only difference I've noticed is the final endurance round in MK1 when Goro screams it causes the music to stop.

I don't like the sound issues with MK1 and MK2.

Call me shallow or whatever, but damn, the uppercut sound for MK1 is terrible. Also, the claps...THE CLAPS! I loved that shit when I was younger, but now, also fucked up.

MK2's fatality chime is so low. Ah, I remember when that chime blasted through the arcade.

Well, fortunately I have MK1 for PSP, with the awesome uppercut sound, bad-ass claps, and Palace Gates music doesn't set to low suddenly. I also have MK2 from Midway Arcade Treasures, and it's pretty damn good.

I have mixed feeling with this game... meh... it's Mortal Kombat, they can fuck me however they please.

No. I find UMK3 to be terribly slow to the original version. Plus as other people have said, the audio mixing is awful, there's bugs galore and the online is meh

I've fought on the streets, bridge, etc. You can still fight in the original areas, I just haven't fought on all of them. Throne room, Noob's dorfen, and the Soul Chamber. I think those are all I've fought on so far.

If you lose a bunch in single player, you'll eventually hit all the MK3 stages.

Just don't uppercut anyone while in Hell. Otherwise it's an infinite loop rough those 4 stages.

UMK3 is horrendous online. Otherwise, I think the game is pretty good.

Thats why i still prefer to play MK3.

MK3 was more complete than UMK3. Had bio screens, storyline screens, ending with pictures and much more arenas.

And MK3 was more easy than UMK3, since the CPU opponent dont just stand there waiting to me to attack.

That is dumb. I can win any fight just waiting for the time to over in UMK3, just walking back and forward.

UMK3 sure has more characters, but it feels rushed, you fight only in the same 4 or 5 arenas over and over.

I really never saw the point of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3... to me it's really just Mortal Kombat 3 1/2... I kinda pointless filler between Mortal Kombat 3 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy.

I really wish NRS would iron out the bugs in Mortal Kombat Trilogy and release it again in HD... that would be bigger than the second coming of christ!
