that's a bit vague, straight after the fireball he'll go into a shoulder barge and send you flying.
i like to duck alot against him as the only move he has that can hit you when you're ducking is the ground shoulder barge, once he's (hopefully) missed you uppercut him, run over to him and repeat several times until he you bk him into a corner, than it's just a case of repeat until dead, but in the event that he blocks the uppercut stay low, his A.I. usually makes him go for the hammer, which is useless when you're right infront of him ducking.
then of course there's the random moments when he just stands there with his hands on his hips either laughing or telling you that you win never win, at that point you know he's asking for a beating.
also he's slightly easier in the fact that you can hit him with projectiles, whereas they just bounce of motaro and fly straight back at you.
hope this is ok as i've never played on the SNES version before, but i don't think there are that many differences between that and the ps1 version.
