All of my new games for XBOX and GCN I've beaten.
So, in preparation for this fall's awesome releases, I have gotten a little bored playing SCII, Halo (1P), SWRSIII:RS... the list goes on.

So, I bought a used SNES w/ Super Mario World.

I also bought MKII.

And I stole MK, MK3, Bassin's Black Bass, Bass Masters Classic and Zelda: LTTP from my Grandma's house (I'm almost 22 and a dad, by the way, hehe.)-all of which actually are mine.

I just can't get enough of games, and getting SMW was the only way I could get my wife to play games with me.

She just can't handle 3D.

Super Punchout is a classic, if you can find it. One of my favorite games ever.

Earthbound is my favorite RPG ever. Its so obscure and goofy that most people hate it or don't care about it. I don't know if I'd recommend it.

Super Double Dragon is my favorite beat-'em-up ever, but its such a rare game, I don't know where it could be found, although I haven't checked.

You should check out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's one of the best beat'em ups of all time IMO.

I have played all those you've mentioned.

I really liked TMNT and Super Double Dragon.

Earthbound is OK, but not my favorite RPG.

I think I'm going to start looking around town for games at pawn shops...any more suggestions?
Super kicks ass. SMW ,Legend of Zelda a link to the past ,MKII are very good games. I don't like fishing that much ,but one I suggest is Super Black Bass ,you can pilot the boat around the lakes to find the best spot. If you can find it ,Rock and Roll Racing is one of my all time favorites ,as well as Paperboy 2 ,Final Fantasy II ,and III(actually IV ,and VI) ,Chrono Trigger. There's too many great games to list. Oh! Krusty's Super fun house ,and Street Fighter Alpha 2. Those were all my games when I had my SNES back in the day ,and all were my favorites.

Chronotrigger for SNES is still my favorite RPG, lol.

Super Punchout is really really fun as was mentioned. Just wanted to stress that because I loved playing that game back in the day.

I was also a huge fan of MK2 for SNES, it was really fantastic. Hmm what else.

Oh, Clayfighter was fun and if you are a Godzilla fan, the SNES Godzilla game is top tier.

And finally, there is a Unicycle game. You can race split screen in a side scrolling race where you do stunts with your Unicycle to make him go faster. Its really simple but I've found that if you are playing against someone it can be a huge amount of fun.

OK, here's an update.
Games currently at my place:
SMW
MK 1-3
Zelda LTTP
Killer Instinct
Bassin's Black Bass
Bass Master's Classic

Also, I already own Super Black Bass, but it is at my GM's house.
Bassin's Black Bass is like a better version of that game anyway.

I also have (At GM's) FF:MQ, FF:II, FF:III,
Final Fight 1,2,3
Firepower 2000 - awesome game.
and a few others.

Thanks for the suggestions.

You should check out Samurai Shodown if you can find it.I played it on ZSNES one time and it was awesome. One of the best fighters I ever played.

Oh and how can I FORGET THIS GAME.This game should be in everyones collection:Contra III:Alien Wars.

I LOVE THAT GAME!I finished it on Easy, and Normal. It's a challenge to beat it on hard.I can go through Easy Mode without losing any lives.I know that game well.If you ever buy PM me and I'll give you some tips.

Yeah, those missions are tough on hard.Especially the level 5 mission.Best gun to use on those levels are the laser guns and the "C" gun.

Yeah A few years back I had a roommate that loved that Contra, along with Super Metroid and he played them endlessly. I really got into Contra, of course it helped that I loved and still love the original for NES.

Is that the game where it turns all dark and blue for some scenes because this boss guy like walks in or something?

I've never played the orginal but I played of the Contra games on PS1.The PS1 Contra games were a disgrace to the Contra name.As for the PS2 one it's alright.I still miss the fun of Contra III.That game never gets old.
