This subject has already beed up, but it was only about a special arcade stick. This is more "overall" the gaming gear(for fighting games mostly)

First of all, is XBOX better than PS2 or vice versa? Can you see or/and feel a difference when playing for example MK:DA on both machines?

And it's up to yourselve if you like the "Arcade Sticks" or the Joypads. But what "Arcade stick" and what Joypad is the best?
With the Arcade sticks, i heard about X-Arcade, Reflex, and some other expensive ones.

And you can get this "PS2 to XBOX" adapter, then you can play with a PS2 joypad/stick on a Xbox if u like?
And with the adapter, can you then use XBOX joypad/stick on a PS2? Or do you need a new adapter = "XBOX to PS2", if its even possible to get that?

And what do y'all hardcore MK/fighting gamers use for gear?

GOGO! smile

I use what ever controller is for each system but i'm starting to think I should switch.

since everyone is complaining about all my xbox footage.

konqrr uses the xarcade and he says it's good. I'll probably get one since i trust his judgement.

k, but aint it bad when all the buttons on those Arcade sticks are the same color? Like on the X-Arcade, they're all black.. ?

I have the shadow blade arcade stick. Its ok but I rarely use it because it puts a strain on my wrist if I use it for too long.

all the sticks look kool, but which one is the best?

I like them all, is it better to just get the xarcade with all the adapters?

I play on all platforms, so flexiblity is important. Also, buying a controller for every system could get expensive.

Plus readjusting to a controller.

Ray> I'm not a stick user but I read on every discussion, the jap sticks are the way to go for best play: HORI almost always comes out on top (high level virtua fighter/SC discussion) The jap sticks have better buttons and there's something special about the base of the stick (I don't know the details cuz I'm happy enough using a pad smile. Just thought u'd like to know.

One can use the x-arcade for every console with an adapter, that's a big pro...But like I said, there's a long list of complaints about the accuracy of the x-arcade.
