OK this is driving me insane. I was picturing the Dead Pool from MK2 in my head, and I remember there being a Tarkatan body chained to the wall and half disolved in the acid - WHERE DID I SEE THIS?!

I was sure this was part of the area in MK2. But then I looked on the MK Warehouse sprites and noticed no Tarkatan body on the Dead Pool background. I then checked the SNES version, the Genesis version, the Amiga version, the Playstation version, the PC version, the Saturn version, several revisions of the arcade version, and some hacks and Beta versions too. Plus the PSX and N64 versions of MK Trilogy. NOTHING!

I'm sure I'm not imagining it. Can anyone tell me where I saw this? I'm sure it was an official 2D MK game, but it's driving me crazy that I can't figure out where I saw it. It definetely wasn't a 3D game by the way.

Sorry this took long. The image you are picturing is most probably from MUGEN. A fighting engine for free on the internet. MUGEN version of certain stages in MK where slightly spiced up. You can also choose any character to be in your custom roster.
