There is no suck thing. Is just a stupid rumor someone made up saying that if you were to knock someone unto the hooks the right side and left side doors will open, revealing Kano.
Kringe Wrote: what's the code to knock someone on to the hook & then lowered into acid? also - can it be done on SEGA and SNES? |

Revealing Kano? LOL, that's one I haven't heard before.

That rumor was pretty cool though when MKII was release, is made perfect sense too and there were other rumors like you can knock your opponent to one of the Living Forest Trees, and you can use GameGiny(sp?)on your Genesis Console and enter a code so you can get one of the Armory's weapons as a fatal. Ah memories

Those are what's missing from MK:DA, the whole 'feel' behind MK. Even tho the rumors were false, there was always such mystery around Mortal Kombat, wow the good ol days. I dunno if the net's to blame or what, but as great as MK:DA played, it did not have that feeling of the old MK's....

It would've been stupid as hell if it were true. Why the hell would Kano be so special they would wanna reveal him from those doors? Unles your talking about MK2, which no one has said whether they are or not. ^_^

I said almost the exact same thing about 1,364 times after MK:DA came out.
I remember that there were about the same amount of people that agreed with me as there were people that DIDN'T agree with me.
I DON'T, however, recall receiving DPs for saying it

Perhaps u didn't make a cool Stacy Christmas sig like I did, that's why...
Seriously tho, ur right. That feeling, I'd sum it up in a thread but I don't want to start another thread for 4 people to post in. But, the MK 'feel' is what kept me all these years..I'm really upbeat that the next MK will have more of what the fans want...new characters are great and all, but we want, no we need hidden old fighters. And Ultimate Kombat Kodes (tho u'd have to put it on urself not to check the net fot the codes). Maybe that's the problem...maybe the net ruined MK...I dunno...it's funny, cause when the net first came out, I used it to find info on MK games and codes an such...full circle I suppose...

Please read the Community FAQ before posting; bumping is not allowed and the said page stresses this clearly.
