I did a thread kinda like this a couple on months ago. Except it was "Do u think the MKDA endings were weak?" And I do think they weren't up to latest MK standard (one of the better points of MK4/MKG was their endings) But I found out from xcarnagex that Midway couldn't afford the FMV endings, it wasn't in the budget. The opening FMV cost $500,000 itself...

I really remember that thread. At any rate, I liked them alot, But my favorite one was Kung Laos....

I don't see why so many people have problems with the text endings. They're so cool, especially since they were actually read by Raiden (his voice was really good). Some of those endings probably couldn't be done properly as FMVs anyway.

I don't care if the endings are text or video, but the content of the endings sucked.

I liked the endings, I absolutely hated MK4 and MKG endings.

The voice acting was terrible, the animation poor and overall, I found most of them very irritating.

I thought it was cool the way they told the stories by using Raiden to tell them.

Besides, like someone pointed out already, it would have costed too much. And I'd rather have money spent on developing the game than an FMV ending for a game nobody wants to play.

If the endings in MK:D will look like the Baraka vs Mileena trailer however, I'm all for FMV endings!

some of them are good it show the charcters getting revenge on each other but some are just plain gay becuase charcters die in there own ending
