2 quesitions :.\
1. If you have a choice would you wait till next gen systems came out to get an MK collection since it might be possible for no load times (shang Tsung morphs) because next gen systems might be so powerfull to not need load times or do you want it now even though the game might lag a bit when it comes to morphs and uppercutting to a next level(example MK3's bank level+ uppercut= roof top).
2. Also give your opinion on if the next gen system will be powerfull enought to reduce of not have any load times for next gen games for MK6 and MK collection( if MK collection comes next gen systems).
PS I am not a tech expert I don't know what it takes for a system not to load or what kind of system specs it needs for it not to lag for for a games like MK1-MKT not to load, so please don't bash on me since I am just thinking, thanks for your time. :.l

Anytime it's reading off a disc, the loading in the morphs will be there. But if you've played MKG, you'd realize morphing on these next gen consoles will only take a split second. Waiting until next gen to release a collection would be a dumb idea. By that time nobody will want to buy ports of old games except us MK fans. Get it over with now I say. Next gen consoles will be backwards compatible anyway.

It would be great to have Arcade Perfect ports of MK1-MK4.Midway keeps giving out excuses though.
If they're gonna do it, now is the time while MK is hot..
As far as load times on BG changes that should be easily done, they just have to load the two BG's into memory, all of the current systems should have enough mem to do that (esp xbox). Same with morph load times, load all the characters into memory, this also should be possible,(i believe MAME on xbox plays all mk's fine, don't know how GC would cope with only 24mb). I'm pretty sure with a little clever coding they can make it work well.

We heard the same rumors about MKDA, that MK1, MKII, or both might be unlockable either in the Krypt or as another secret. Don't bet on seeing that in the next installment of MK, no matter how popular the idea might be or no matter how capable any next-gen system might be. Don't get me wrong, my intent isn't to rain on anyone's parade, because personally I would definitely pay to play at least the first two classics on my XBox or a more powerful next-gen system, complete with all characters, moves and secrets, but it just ain't gonna happen, at least not for part 6. Sorry, guys.

The RAM sizes of the current consoles is easily large enough to handle Shang Tsung with no problem. If there was a load time, it would be miniscule.
The next MK could possibly have some decent secrets this time around. It all depends on if Midway think they could make money selling a compilation disc, which to be fair they could. It might be against their interests to have a game they could sell seperately for free. Espcially where Midway is concerned.
MK5 wasn't finished so if they thought they would like to do it, MK6 would be the game. I doubt they will release that game before finishing it. I hope to God they disgard the Krapt. WE want interesting secrets you unlock in interesting ways! Not earning Koins and unlocking bland coffins in a bland room only to get Krap.

[18:30] Scott-MK5: In a past chat, you said that you would love to see a collaboration of MK1-4 [18:30] Scott-MK5: and 5 all on one DVD. fast-forwarding to today, do you still believe that [18:30] Scott-MK5: it is a possibility? and if so, will they be arcade-perfect ports or [18:30] Scott-MK5: just...*bleech*...home conversions? you know which one i'm rooting for. ;) [18:30] Scott-MK5: - SojaofCrst [18:31] KungLao: Raiden can you please ask Ed Boon if Raiden is going to be in MK5! [18:31] KungLao: You can find our answers in the vault at MK.com [18:32] ED_BOON: I absolutely believe the MK 1-5 DVD is a posibility [18:32] ED_BOON: But we'd have write a mame type program, for the PS2, or other consoles ===================================

ok i have a few things to say on my hehalf....
1. a mk collection was technically possible to have a mk collection since the dreamcast (even though that gd-rom could maybe only hold mk1-umk3) without much loading time at all, even for shang tsung's morphs.
2. no matter how anyone looks at it Midway could make alot of money off of it considering most people either sold/gave away their old systems with those mk's on it or dont wanna hook all that stuff up for it.
3. the mk team doesnt need to have free time to simply port them over to the next-gen systems. The only thing needed to be done is recoding them for each system since nothing needs to be tweaked.
i wouldnt care how much it cost considering the possible number of mk'2 that could be in the compilation. (i think it could be mk1-4, including the inbetween games til mk4 like trilogy and mk: mythologies)
