I was bored, so I came up with this list. it's basically the classic Kombatants; the ones most associated with the game, the most famous, and the best players (least important category of the three..don't get on my ass about Tiers.)

This is what I came Up with:


01.Liu Kang ( The champion of Mortal Kombat; don't like him? Deal with it)
02.Sub-Zero (The only character to appear in every single mortal Kombat Game.)
03.Scorpion ( one of the icons of mortal kombat.)
04.Raiden (One of the most instantly recognizable)
05.Shao Kahn (The best villian in any video game since Ganon.)
06.Goro (The original sub-boss. Nuff said.)
07.Shang Tsung (The original boss character. His soul stealing ways defined the Mortal Kombat villian.)
08.Reptile (Insanely popular)
09.Sonya Blade (First MK Female)
10.Quan Chi (The only instant classic from MK4. Great villian)
11.Kitana (Insanely popular female)
12.Johnny Cage (The original "buddy" character.)
13.Kano (Great villian; only non-boss that is truly evil to the core.)
14.Kung Lao (Great buddy character; his Hat slice is the best fatality ever imo.)
15.Jax (First african american player; a perinial favorite.)
16.Baraka (Great villian. Loses potential top ten ranking due to inconsistent appearances.)
17.Noob Saibot (Considered a filler character, but he's a constant presence, and is always doing important things for his masters.)
18.Mileena (MKs first evil female; a perenial favorite.)
19.Ermac (The most storied Mortal Kombat character ever; we pumped how many dollars worth of quarters into MK1 and Mk2 trying to find him?)
20.Kenshi (New character; classic in the making.)
