I think there must be something Im doing wrong.. I get a double Flawless, preform a Fatality, and in single player on the PIT level.. But I never fight Reptile. And I never see the images on the moon, is there a certain version i need?

I think maybe you can't use Block? I've never done it so I could be totally wrong here. But I remember reading how it was impossible for Sonya to fight reptile in early versions of the game, because her fatality used BL. But then I think they fixed that in version 5.

I dont remember for sure, but don't you have to play a certain number of matches in a row to get the images to fly across the moon?

I'm not sure what version you're playing but you need to be on the pit stage, get a double flawless, never press block, and do your fatality. Some versions you need to see something fly across the moon and others you don't.

Reptile is only fightable on versions 3 and 4 Y-Unit, not 4 and 5 T-unit. The shadows fly across the moon every 8th time the Pit comes up, so start playing the game, and fight the computer through starting on the Courtyard, there are 6 total stages, so a full cycle of 7, that's 42 matches, then 4 more, that's the 46th match.

Double flawless, no blocking, fatality, not the Pit Fatality itself.

I've played against Reptile on the T-Unit 5 (or latest version, whatever you want to call it).

Luckily I had the cheat file, so I could use 1-hit wins; I completed the game about 4-5 times in a row (see why the cheat came in handy wink ) and then I finally got the shadows across the moon.

BTW, the latest versions of MAME32 actually let you create a save file- it didn't for versions 0.64 onwards- so once you've managed to get to a natch before the Pit, lose and save the game!

(And as MK2Kung said: Double Flawless, no Blocking, Fatality. And I can't fight Reptile as Sonya without cheating and using player select sad )

Revision 4 made it so you're allowed to use block during fatalities so you can fight Reptile with Sonya.

I had read that you couldn't fight Reptile on the T Unit versions and I didn't believe it, tried and nothing happened, I just tried now and it worked. I hate when that kind of stuff happens.

I remember I did the exact same Fatality and all double flawless and I got to verse Reptile. I'm not sure if it has to do with versions of the game. I versed him on the SNES version.

. . . Blue and Yellow makes Green!!! There is a reason Reptile was green and had both Ninja's powers!

Whoa! No way, heres another thing, Rain is purple, and blue + red makes purple, and Rain does Ermacs telekintetic slam movement but instead lightning comes down, and water attracts lightning, and ice is frozen water, what a coinicidence!
