I finally have MKT. While I have noticed the collision detection is not perfect the game is still fun other wise. But can anyone on here do the rediculous combo's and stuff like that, or was that only on the umk3 arcade.

If its the N64 version anything is possible because its totally broken.

If its PSX then most things done in UMK3 for the arcade will work on it. More will naturally be possible because of the added moves, but in general any rule that existed in UMK3 for the arcade is intact or better in MKT for PSX.

One thing I hate about MKT is that Kung Lao's Tornado Spin makes him move! It's not good for his infinite, and I can't pull it off in MKT.

When something better than UMK3 comes out, I'll let you all know, because it still hasn't happened yet.

That's because you can only do one spin per combo on MKT.

Well, that's stupid. No wonder I couldn't get a second one done.

That was their way of taking out the most obvious infinite in umk3. It was sad that that even existed in any version.

On ps MKT, with Kung Lao, U can do, jump Kick, HP, Hat Toss, Jump Kick, Dive Kick, HP, Hat Toss, Jump Kick, Dive Kick, repeat...

It is quite hard to do, much easier on UMK3 on Saturn

On Saturn UMK3 U can do a kombo with Nightwolf like this:

Jump Kick (Super Deep), Run HP, Axe move, Shoulder Ram, Fire Arrow. It may only be five hits, but all the hits hit the opponent in the air, in the middle of the screen. NO Corner needed.

Yup good ol' Saturn, much like N64, makes kombos easier by breaking the game.

Do you ever try any of your combos on the arcade version, or a non broken version of the games?

These aren't exactly insane, but:

MK1 KANO:
(close to the opponent) HP, HP, HP, HP

RAIN:
B, B, HP, after lightning, D, F, HP, then repeat as much as you like.

KABAL:
(close to the opponent) HP, HP, HK, Roundhouse
( note: I'm not sure if that works for Kabal or Scorpion. Maybe even both.

SMOKE:
F, F, LK, jump near opponent and press Block

That Rain one doesn't go for MKT for PSX. They have to be on the ground to be hit by the lightning and thus they can block it. I think it might be possible in N64 thanks to uber brokenness.

I think a lot of people seem to like Noob. His name fits, he is very good for Newbies. I still don't understand why they decided to try to make a bunch of good characters and then make Noob. All black, stupid moves that are entirely too broken. Its just a shame.
