Finish him!!! Or, you know, don't...
MKDA doesn't give you a whole lot of Fatality options, but there's a lot of moves that are great for ending a match with satisfaction as well, I've found. So here's my question:
Do you find yourself only finishing Evil characters if you're Good or Good characters if you're Evil, or everyone if you're Unknown?
And what move do you use for your favourite characters?
I totally go with the alignment of the character. If I'm playing someone like Raiden I don't kill all of Earth's warriors, etc.
'course when I'm a bad guy, all gloves are off and I kill everybody.
For me finishing move-wise, the best non-Fatal finish is Kenshi's telekinetic push. I just love the whole "Go away" look and feel to it. Other great ones are any pop-up ('cos they land on their head), or any impale move.

Well imo there was only a few fatalities that were at least half-decent in MKDA. They were Kenshi's, Cyrax's, Reptile's, Kung Lao's, Raiden's and Frost's. The rest were absolutely terrible, so I have a lot of experience finishing off opponents without using the fatality.
Here are some moves that I liked to finish off opponents without actualy 'finishing' them:
Anyone's impale, but mainly swords not daggers
Scorpion's summon hellfire
Any off Kenshi's telekinetic moves
Raiden's grab and electrocute
Sub Zero or Frost's freeze
Shang Tsung's soul steal
Jax's gun
Kano's eye laser
Scorpion's backflip
and Quan Chi's green skull
I think you had to improvise and it was often more fun not doing the crappy fatality, and killing them with your special moves instead...

Ha, i actually have a couple of these.
Quan-Chi: In Mi-Zong, f+4 (I think, it's been too long) but it's a punch to the face and the opponent goes limp and falls backwards.
Sonya: Tae-kwon-do, 2 becuase they remain sitting with a stupid expression on their face.
Reptile: Hung Gar, b+3 the face slam off the ground is too cool for school.
thats all i can think of now...

Speaking of fatalities in DA, I don't own a copy of it and I haven't seen Cyrax's fatality....he's one of my fave characters and I'm dying (get it heh) to know what it is....could somebody describe it....?

I'll describe it too you, but u should look into getting DA, its worth owning - especialy since its a greatest hit on all the systems now.
Cyrax's fatality: He opens up his chest plate and a metal grabbing mechanism come out (look at Sektor's 'compactor' fatality from MK3 for an idea of what it looks like) then it clamps down on the enemies head, it lifts them up off the ground, then repeatedly smashes their face/head into the ground (I think 3 or 4 times). After the last smash, he retracts his metal grabber (with the enemy still trapped) into his chest, his chest plate closes again, U get the impression they are chopped up in there, and then he opens it one more time and spits out the remaining blood and guts. It's probably the best fatality in MKDA.
Cyrax is one of my fave fighters from MK, but unfortunatelty he is really crappy and slow in MKDA, which was disappointing considering he had such a coll fatality...
