Found an MKII fatality glitch.
I was playing the MKII arcade version the other day and saw something strange. I was playing a 2-player game (the other guy was playing with Raiden) when he did the uppercut fatality on the portal stage. The strange this is that because he did it at the exact moment when it said "Raiden Wins," he uppercutted, I exploded, the game froze, and my character's head rolled down the screen very slowly. Wierd.
Peace.
Peace.

I could see this happening on the SNES version, but after some of the shit I've gotten recently in UMK3 glitch wise, I don't think it's that far from possible.

Yeah, it does sound in the realm of possibility. Like in MKT when you blade spin with Baraka in the corner, if your opponent is too high he'll freeze in air and Baraka will freeze in his frame and slowly drift away from the corner.
Also, you can glitch Sheeva's pound into the ground with REptiles slow force ball so that she can attack him sticking out of the ground. You uppercut the body sticking out, another appears, and sheeva slowly drifts away from the corner. That slow drift seems to be a common theme in glitched moves.

The slow drift is part of the "iceskate state" property that pushes you away from the wall to break up what would easily be infinite combos, it seems like something happens and it never lets the character come out of that state.

A lot of can weird things happen in MK2 if you do the fatality right at the last possible second.
I've seen people fall over and the fatality will miss them.

True, I was playing MK3 once and I did Cyrax's fatality right as it said "Cyrax wins" and the game started loading the next screen as the fatality was still in progress....it happened twice but it was my fault for being slow with the fatality I guess....
