Genesis TV Games - with MK1, MKII, and MK3 built-in
09/30/2015 01:40 PM EST
Has anyone seen these? I just saw them at Toys "Я" Us for the first time. I hadn't heard anything about them, just noticed them on the shelf. One of them is designed to be hooked up to a TV; the other is portable and meant to be taken on the go.

Here's some pics:

And here is the product page over at the official site for AT Games, the company responsible for creating these:

For the most in-depth, in-detail, Mortal Kombat lore analysis vids, there's only one source:

Sonic AND MK? Oh man, 1993 me would be going crazy right now.

I wonder though, are they the crappy Gensis versions from eons ago, or arcade ports?

Oh man I might have to pick one of these up lol I still have my Genesis with MK1,2 and UMK3 but this would still be fun to have so I can continue to keep my sega and the cartridges kind of retired but still enjoy that feeling of nostalgia hahaha

I have one of the older models with an SD card slot. MK and MK2 run well, but MK3 has a problem with the controls - special moves cannot be performed. If they're now included on the new unit, perhaps the issue has been sorted out?
I'm sorry, I didn't care.
