Has there EVER been a game with Rain in it?

I havent played many MK games, all I've ever played is MK DA and Deception. I've unlocked pictures of past MK games character selection screens for MK2 MK3 and MK Gold in the Krypt from DA but I have never seen Rain. Has there EVER been a game with Rain as a selectable player? And just out of curiosity, what type of element does he control, since Subzeros' is Ice, Scorpion is fire, Saibot is darkness, and Reptile is like.... earthy... acid whatever xD

Rain was first seen in the attraction mode of UMK3 but he wasn't a selectable character neither a fightable character.The first time he was a selectable character was in the Sega Genesis and SuperNintendo versions of UMK3.He was included in MK Trilogy too in all versions (PSX,N64,Saturn and PC)and now he will be a selectable character in MK7 Armageddon.His skills are related with "weather" for saying something,as his name implies,"RAIN",he has two special moves,one "water ball" that he throws to the enemy and then the enemy is paralized and you can control him as he floats in the air and then he has a Lightning that he summons from the sky,if this lightning hits the opponent,the opponent goes flying in the air open for a combo,and one of his fatalities involves multiple lightning strikes to the opponent until he explodes.

Oh ok, thanks Reptile! Whats the 'U' stand for in UMK3? Ultimate? And another question, MK: Armageddon, what system will it be for? I just wanna know if its for the Xbox 360 or the PS3 cuz I dont have those systems. If its for the PS2, GameCube or Xbox though... grin

Yep,the "U" in UMK3 stands for Ultimate mortal kombat 3.And for Armageddon,yes it's for PS2 and XBOX,but this is the wrong forum to talk about that game,go here:
