Let another company remake MK-MK3 in 3D with additional storyline fixes and alters like Twisted Metal Black was and a different engine from DA with more lifelike characters (not the steroid abusers we see in DA). I have had this idea of this for the past few days so I had to get this off my brain. The prequels would go like this...

Mortal Kombat: The Sorceror's Tournamet (MK)
Mortal Kombat: The Emperor's Tournament (MKII)
Mortal Kombat: The Outworld Invansion (MK3)

After finishing the games you could unlock the original versions converted straight from the arcade. And after those I would put out either the original original first Mortal Kombat or the Mortal Kombat with the original Kung Lao up against the undefeated Shang Tsung or with Goro as the challenger and Lao as the champion, entitled Mortal Kombat: The Shaolin Tournament but I can't because I'm just a person with no money and video game designing knowledge. Thoughts?

I am not really into the idea of remakes. I'd like to see the old games on a collection though.

They could call it Mortal Kombat Kollection.

Include as close to arcade as possible ports of MK, MK II, MK3 and MK4. When I say as close as possible I mean it. I mean even include the test screen when you first turn it on and even use the settings menu the arcade has instead of a regular gaming options menu. Every sound, every piece of animation, every flaw, every glitch.

They could include the ability to pick from any publically released revision. It would be a lot of fun to mess around with the older revisions and see all the glitches and unfinished things. I do this with MAME a lot but it'd be cool in a collection like this.

The game would also include a Krypt, like DA's. Beating the games would net you Koins to use in one big krypt. There is an INSANE potential for unlockable stuff. Imagine it. You could buy old concept art. You could buy footage of the actors being digitized. You could buy interviews with Boon and crew. You could buy pictures of the old merchandise. You could buy extremely detailed bios on all the characters. You could buy extra games(UMK3, and recreated and much better versions of MKT and MK Gold).

The potential for a collection or anthology of past MK games is just limitless and it's something Midway could do for relatively little time and money. With the newfound interest in MK(thanks to DA) and the long wait for MK6 this would have been a PERFECT year to release a game like this.

I could handle a MK 1-3 in a MKDA style. I think it would be cool, not profitable, but cool!
