How do i unlock reptile in mk1??

I have the collectors edition of mkd which includes mk1. I remember in the snes version, to fight reptile you had to win on the pit with a double flawless and use a fatality, but i have done it on the mkd/mk1 version but it wotn work?? why is this?? any help would be apreciated!

You know i have the same problem.
Ps is there a way to play as reptile.

Fight Reptile

Start a One Player Game. At The Pit, Look to the Moon. There must be silhouettes gliding past - this will occur every 6th game. Win Double Flawless Victory with Fatality without Blocking at all.

You cant play as him if thats what you mean by unlocking him.

Note the bolded part; that is a requirement that did not make it onto the SNES version of MK1, but is the key element in fighting Reptile, and without the shadows, you won't be able to fight him.
Oh yeah, please use the serach feature the site has, since this question has been answered before.
