death punch is rather easy, set your level setting to 4 if you want to do it on the first few characters, it doesn't work on levels 1 and 2 and wont work at all on level 5. simply get right next to them jump back while throwing out a jump kick. they'll stand there then jump at you walk foward a bit and throw out your punch as they're in mid air. there's like 5 different variables of the death punch and you can combo off of most of them with certain characters. this also doesn't work with all characters all the time (mainly millena and kitana), I have the best luck with shang tsung. glhf

The Death Punch is just somekind of bug/glitch.
Its simply that a Jab counts double/triple because the opponent stuck in it while he,s in the air.
The highest damage I made with it was around 50% damage with Johnny Cage.

By the way, it has nothing to do with this topic, but the jump backward pattern against the AI doesnt work with some Characters. (Liu Kang, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana and Millena) at least not on my Arcade Version 3.1 on Very Hard.
The AI always fire,s a missile when I jump back with those Characters.
