I was playing as Sektor and I was gonna do Sektor's compactor, I was too far and as my opponent began to fall I began the fatality, I crushed them while they were lying on their back, and it cut the fatality thing short.

When something better than UMK3 comes out, I'll let you all know, because it still hasn't happened yet.

That's what we call a "Just frames" fatality. They were a bit easier to time in MK2, if you know how much time you get specifically after executing say an uppercut, then hold up forward, land next to them, do the fatality in a specific timing so they start up as they fall, you'll whiff or make the fatality look sloppy. In MK3 and I think UMK3 you'll notice a lot of the time with the robots if you do their pit fatality just a hair too far away they miss and go into their victory pose and it does the whole duration of the pit fatality wobbling. It's funny in MK2 to see things like Jax miss the head clap etc.

Yeah it's funny how the body's also get transported to Hell when you do the Agent Scorpion Fatality.
