I'm pissed because I think they only did it so they could sell more 'collectors editions' of MKD. Now MK1 is exclusive to those special editions and that's a bit of a bitch move on their part. Ok $10 isn't that much of an increase for the extra stuff u get, but I don't want to buy it because I wanted the cover with the MK dragon symbol and the DK - not Sub Zero (PS2 for me.) I was only going to get MAT2 for MK1 and 2, cus I (and I'm sure many people) already own MK3.

I wonder if you can get the special edition with the Dragon cover?

Maybe they switched it because MK:D is online so if they put it on the same cd it will be online or if it's on a different cd they might surprise us with MK1 online. Could happen?smilesmile

Yeah, I'm sorta pissed. All I got is GC, and I can't play MK1 on it now. I guess I'll save money and get a PS2 or Xbox.

they need to have mk1 on it. whoever decided to take it out should be publically tortured for their satanic actions.

I feel your pain guys, because MK1 was my primary reason I was after MKtreasures. I have a decent console port of MKII, and MKT for the N64 pretty much covers all the ground I need for MK3. I have both the genesis and SNES versions of MK1, and I'm not content with either of them.

I have the Genesis version too, and after playing the Arcade version, I was sorely disappointed with what I had... I place 1000 curses upon the heads of the representatives of Nintendo and Midway for screwing over their fans!

im not totally disappointed because i was gonna get the special version of deception anyway. plus if they do it the way i hope they do then we should unlock mk1 through the krypt. (i had this idea for mk:da) but if its playable right out the box thats fine with me too. i'll still buy MAT2 for mk2 and mk3 simply because of me being a fan and we never really truly had an arcade perfect port of those games.....minus the load time with some said older consoles. grin
