I have MK2 for ps1, and Gameshark v.3 for ps2, can I play MKII?

I've had MK2 for ps1 for a very long time but I never played it because it was the japanese version. But I heard there is a way to play PS1 games on PS2 with the help of a gameshark. I don't want to get a modchip because of the risks of damaging my console.

Can anyone help a brother out? thanks.

Simple...download ePSXe and get some video plugins for it at Pete Bernert's Page. Find the BIOS file and you're in business. Just plug in the CD in your computer and play. No need to mess around with your console for import games.
