More characters and broken gameplay. Online would be no fun with MKT since the characters are so unbalanced.

I wish they'd take the time to modify at the very least Rain's RH, Noob's Disabler/teleport, and eliminate the bosses from the select screen, maybe put the 4 retro characters on the bottom in their place. Someone's gotta have access and ability to modify the game still. It would take more than likely 5 minutes, and they could rerelease Trilogy and not make it noob friendly. A few minutes of work to make a million dollars.
They would probably have to change a couple numbers here and there to disable the teleport after 1 usage, the RH as a special move, and the Disabler's speed. For DS they wouldn't really have to change the graphics or anything any moreso than the arcade, they could even go as far as to drop the energy bars a few pixels and cut the edges off the top and bottom of screen a bit and MKT would look the virtually same as the arcade.

I think they should add a move/character disabler, which the host can get rid of certain aspects of the brokeness since we all know that making a balanced game is almost impossible for Midway since the ending of 2002...
MKT wasn't realeased in arcades. It didn't look as good, nor did the loading time compare to that of UMK3's. Yeah, I understand where you are coming from with the more characters part, but a straight port would have been 5 times worse. They couldn't go back in and make MKT look like they did UMK3 for the DS. I've always prefered MK2 over all the classics, but UMK3 is the best that we're probably gonna get, and so far, its lookin pretty promising.

Smoke, they can do a lot to make MKT look as good on DS as UMK3 will, since UMK3 is beyond the screen limits and so is MKT. As for it not being an arcade game, I don't think that matters with the DS. It's more about Midway not bothering with the original source code and leaving it in tact. I don't know what the reason for that is.
On a side note, UMK3 is the best you can get for competitive play out of the 2D games.

Coming straight from ed bood he said that UMK3 felt like the right game at the time to port over to the ds.
IMO hes right to,cause you would get people online who would just noob people with the bosses and noob saibot and rain.
I don't mind the game that much but UMK3 is a much better balance game unless you play against people who just use human smoke and all they do is that stupid INFIN combo.Btw does anyone know if they fixed those in the ds verison?
I kinda wish they made mk4 or port over MKMSZ then that would have been awesome.Hell maybe one day we will see the N64 verison of MKSF on the DS who knows?

Yeah, well I will admit though MKA is definitely more balanced then MKD was...god that game was beyond broken, Bo and Dair=own the whole game lol.
But yeah, UMK3 definitely is the most balanced game out of all the MK's so far, MK:DA up there as well.
For MKT, ehh I must say I'm with the people who prefer UMK3...especially after playing it now a few days it's freaking GREAT so much fun and just as good if not better actually then the 360 version.
