I would definately want him to be human. If he would have turned into a Cyborg, he would probably just become a blue Cyrax. I would just think of him as a recolor just like Rain, Ermac(the old Ermac), Jade, Human Smoke, MK1/2/UMK3 Reptile, and Smoke.

Now this makes me think, What if both Sub Zero AND Smoke escaped? What would he look like???? Don't say human smoke! You'll just ruin my question like that.

Sub-Zero is the original master of ice. Cyborg or not, Sub-Zero would've always been Sub-Zero to me. The blue outfit and the ice powers. That's what makes him cool, not what species he is.

Yeah i think so, but maybe just not as cool. If he became a cyborg, then he would have lost his personality and perhaps would of seemed like another pallette swap. His personality is part of what makes subzero so good. Even if he were a cyborg though, he'd still be good with the whole ice throwing deal, but it perhaps wouldn't be as attention grabbing. Thinking of a robot freezing stuff just makes me think liquid nitrogen, but thinking of a person freezing stuff...ohhhhh mysterious!

they would kill his character if they did that.

Hence the rumored Cyclone cyborg. If Sub-Zero became a cyborg, it would be the original Sub-Zero in my opinion. It would make a better story than having the younger Sub-Zero become one.
