There is a way of doing that if you are desperate although it would require a DVD Rom.1st of all, get an XB/PS2/GC Emulator and then buy the game for whatever console that you'd like to get it for and then use the Emu to run it on your PC.I would say go for a PS2 Emu because XB Emulations aren't goin the best.Just an idea for those who want to get it for PC.

For me the point is having it made for PC resolutions and possibly better graphics.

So what PS2 emulator do you recommend?

I'm sorry but that method wouldn't even work! An emulator needs the proper type of ROM to play the game... not an origional disk. And there are no current console emulators that actually work (at least that I know of).

If this were possible don't you think there would be HUGE pirating problems for console games? I know Microsoft has got some problems because you can mod an xbox to where you can store several games, movies, etc on the hard drive (which can be replaced with a larger one as well)... But that's a different story all to itself.

If you want better resolution play... Hook up your Ps2, Xbox, whatever to your PC! Just having it play through a VGA monitor improves the overall visuals pretty nicely. Instead of the hard anti-aliasing lines you see on your TV, they show up a little smoother because of the higher resolution display of the monitor and seem to be even slightly blurred out!

I have an ATI 8500 All In Wonder that has component inputs. This allows me to connect my console, record matches, take snapshots, etc.
