Every character does appear in Konquest, but a lot of it shouldn't be taken as canon.

Cyrax was most likely sent back to Earth after getting Nitara's orb.

Jax, Johnny Cage, and Sonya attacked Shang Tsung's Palace along with Kung Lao and Kitana and were killed. In Deception they've been resurrected by the Dragon King and brainwashed into serving him.

No word on Hsu Hao. As of now, I'd assume he is indeed dead.

No mention of Shinnok. After Quan Chi was sucked into the Netherealm by Scorpion, Shinnok was defeated by Liu Kang.

Quan Chi's whereabouts are unknown. He started to run away just before Raiden blew himself up so he might have been able to teleport out at the last second.

No word on Moloch or Drahmin.

No word on Rain. According to his MK3 ending he turned against Kahn and joined Kitana and went on a suicide mission to destory Kahn. Whether or not that happened we don't know.

Sektor is alive and well. After being defeated by Sub-Zero for the Dragon Medallion, Sektor retreated to Japan where he's forming his own clan of cyber-ninjas called the Tekunin. They are slowly taking over Japan.

After Raiden became and Elder God, Fujin took his place as Defender of Earth. But Raiden has relinquished his status so what's become of Fujin we don't know. I'm guessing he just returned to being the regular God of Wind.

Kai disappeared after MK4. No word on him. Same as Jarek.

Sheeva and Motaro are dead. Motaro was killed by Sheeva and Sheeva was killed trying to assassinate Shao Kahn.

No word on Reiko. All that's known for certain about Reiko's past is that he is/was a member of the Brotherhood of the Shadow but he may have once served Shao Kahn.

Meat has no story. He's just a joke character.

Khameleon was a raptor but she hasn't been seen or heard from since MK3. Chameleon had no story. He was a joke character like Meat.

Stryker's disappeared. So has Mokap and Blaze. I assume Blaze has returned to his quest whatever that was.

They were all killed in the battle. It's explained in Jade's bio:

"I had arrived too late. Kitana and her allies from Earthrealm had been slain in an epic battle against the Deadly Alliance. At the least, they had killed many Tarkata before they died. As I knelt beside her, a menacing, dragon-like creature strode across the bridge to the palace. I leapt out of sight and watched as he resurrected the dead and ordered them to regroup near the Living Forest.
I followed them in secret. The Dragon King's entourage crossed into Edenia and imprisoned Queen Sindel. He used Princess Kitana to guard her,knowing the Queen would not attack her own daughter. I fought Kitana and eventually managed to lock her in a cell of her own. Kitana screamed furiously, alerting the enemy. Before Queen Sindel and I escaped through a portal to Outworld, I caught a last glimpse of the Dragon King and at his side Tanya!"

Fujin never relinquished his new role as Earth's Protector when Raiden relinquished his role as Elder god. Raiden just took back up his role as God of Thunder, not earth's protector.

It's believed that he told Fujin to stay behind on Earth during Deadly Alliance, in case he and earth's warriors failed and the battle spilled over into Earthrealm. After that, it's not known what happened to him. Perhaps Fujin was captured by Onaga's warriors, or Raiden (possibly corrupted by the influence of the One Being controlling Onaga) ordered him to return to the heavens once the thunder god reformed.

As for Shang Tsung, he and Quan Chi did indeed fight and Quan Chi won, but it was Raiden's etheral blast that killed the sorcerer, not Quan himself, as revealed in Liu Kang's bio.
