raiden-reptile-forceball.avi
Found out about this one day when I was playing BaDRoCK in MKII. You can trip over the forceball the wrong way, if you teleport and then hit it from the other side.
kitana-liukang-lowfire.avi
MKRuler showed me this trick earlier. Kitana can duck under Liu Kang's Low Fireball!! If you hit Down + LK and time it just right. I assume this goes for Mileena as well.
acid-juggle.avi
It's also possible to hit someone with the Acid Pool Fatality while they're still in the air. If you just juggled someone, like I had Kitana do in this video, just hold LP and LK as you include the uppercut at the end of your combo.
forceball-destroyer.avi
You can ruin Reptile's forceball with a simple Down + HK. How many MK players knew this? And some people say MK's gameplay wasn't deep. BaDRoCK showed me this trick.
I thought these were interesting, does anyone have any more they could post?

I knew about the first with Reptile and Rayden/Raiden. The one with Liu Kang is sad- ppl should not be able to duck that. And the third is cool, too.

That forceball doesn't look like he is doing it the wrong way. When they are hit by the forceball (or when they hit it I guess), I thought they just always flipped towards Reptile.

Forceball destroyer?!! Poor reptile!
Also with the force ball destroyer you can use down+LK, far more save. Sweep works as well sometimes.
Btw, BaDRocK isn't the original finder of that occurance, as Konqrr showed me the force ball destroyer over a year ago already. And as far as I know I am the original finder of the low fireball doging and the acid juggle. Now where are my f*cking Dragon Points.

Here's another.
Pit II "on-the-button" Fatality.
Unfortunately the framerate isn't good, and there's no sound. My recording program suddendly decided to be a bitch.
Edit: ]<0MBAT offered to host it. Link is to his site now.

I use hypercam, I believe ]< does too. But mine isn't working right, being a pain in the ass about recording. Could be because my IDE cable isn't fast enough or my drive, but it's not letting me record fully anymore.

Ahh, some PC camera? How does it connect?

It's NOT a PC camera. It's software that captures a section of your monitor that you're recording.

Normally, when the forceball moves from left to right, and it hits you, you trip to the left.
However, in this video the forceball is moving from left to right, and when they hit, he trips to the right - the complete opposite, because he's hitting it from the other side.
That's why it's posted here.

ChaiN Wrote: Man, the force ball is just physics. He bumps in from the left, Raiden is going faster to the right than the force ball, so he trips over to the right. Nothing wrong with that. |
