the computer in UMK3 was cheap as hell I think, we only had to use the same pattern again and again to beat it, in MK3 it is less cheap but a bit easier to beat however IMO

The AI is easy in MK3 yoo. The AI in MK2 is so predictable example if you do a backflip the AI will do a back flip counter attack with a special move, uppercut or roundhouse. MK3 is all in attacking the right way. Both super easy games. MK3 is my fav of the 2 d MK games, thus I will never get tired with it. MK2 is good as well.

the only time i cared for mk3 was in 1995 waiting at my local arcade to see the new mortal kombat. the doors opened, heards of people stroll in, and at firs glance, i was impressed. then 2 weeks later i wa back over at the mk2 machine, and ever since, only play mk3, umk3, or trilogy for like 10 minutes then i just end up playing my dedicated mk3 cabinet with mk2 installed. i have all three pcb's of mk1 2 and 3, 3 is kinda glitchy, but like i really care, and the other two work excellent. i have mat2 as well, so now i can lay in my bed at night and play mk2 instead of having to sit on a barstool all night. so its cool. you know whats funny, i play mk3 on mat2 one match, do the smoke code, use smoke in one or two matches, then end up playing 2 again. mk2, mk gold, and mk deception are my all time favorites. deception really won me over. deadly alliance really didn't. especially when i seen the retarded ass half ass finishing move quan chi does. a neck stretch? absolutely retarded. thats not mk, thats looney toons.

I am not bored with MK 3 or MAT 2 as a whole yet. There are still games I haven't even played. If you bought the pack soley for the MK Games, which most people here probably did, then yeah the games are going to get boring if you play away at them. MK back in those times was not a deep fighter, not deep by todays standards. So I can see why you may be getting bored with the game.
