Is it legal to play MK2 and MK3 on MAME via rom if you have bought midway arcade treasures 2 for xbox
Not it,s not really "Legal" its even not Legal to have them for 24 hour,s like some sites tell you.

But you can believe me, you will not getting trouble when you use them.
The only guys that could become trouble are the host,s of big rom sites ect.
But even these guys dont get trouble for the most time.

No

That "If you own this game for real, the rom is legal" is BS. Roms are illegal no matter if you own it or not

Yeah, never ever is it legal to play games that aren't made legal by the companies who own them, like the few on Kaillera.com.

I don't know about developing countries since I don't live in one and thus the laws are different anyway. In the US you are allowed to have one backup of anysoftware, and video games count, but the backups must be in the same format as the original, so you can backup an SNES game to a blank SNES cartridge or I guess burn a second set of rom chips from an arcade. As for roms on a computer, yep, always illegal.
