Is UMK3 for iPod/iPad/iPhone considered a real MK game?

Sure. I wouldn't consider it anything more than another port of an old game, but I don't see why it wouldn't be considered a "real" game.

It's most likely a "Real" game. I've played it for well over atleast 3-4 hours, it's not that great and I hate that they updated it to be 3D. It works well though, and is pretty fun. I just wish some of the combos worked, the opponent gets knocked back to an extent where you can't finish it.

I think it would be better if it was just a straight up port

plus i mean the touch screen controls dont really do it
especially for a fighting game you need physical controls

MKO confirmed for autism.

What the op was asking is if the iOS port of UMK3 is legitimate enough to be passed as a decent port and not just cheap app, and yeah, it plays just like the original except with a touch control scheme. It's not a 1:1 of the arcade release, so expect missing a few hitboxes here or there.. But other than that, I'd say it's above the average iPhone game.
