I just wanna know if people kick ass with their favorite character or do they just suck with them. Me i like lots of Characters and are good with them but i still lack skill with others i know this may be pintless but i just wanna know.

Well I'll talk about MK3/UMK3/MKT, cus they're the ones I play the most.

Fave fighters in MK are Reptile and Sub Zero. I'm not good with Reptile, but I am good with Subby (unmasked).

My best are the two Smoke's though...

I suck with Reptile, but he's my favorite. Sometimes I can kick ass, but it kinda happens randomly.

I do excellent with everyone including my favorite fighter which happens to be either one of the Sub-Zero(s). I liked UMK3's Ninja Sub-Zero better because of his fast five hit combo.
