I was wondering if anyone heard of an easter egg in the arcade version of MK3 where you can hear the funeral procession of Johnny Cage? Somehow I remember reading this in an old Videogames magazine, right when MK3 came out. If anyone has proof that this exists or that it was proved a rumor please reply. An audio clip or a link to one would be nice.

I don't think it was an easter egg in the game, I think it was something Ed Boon had posted on his website.
I've heard this before, and I'd post it for you if I still had it, but I don't (sorry).

No, I don't think there's no such thing. There is something called Johnny Cage Transformations in MK3's audit menu though but I've never figured out how to do any of em.

Those are there as a joke/conversation starter/rumor fodder. They also had 'Kano Transformations' in the audits page for MK2.

I think this got a little off topic. But, many thanks to Kombat for confirming he's heard it before. From what I remember reading it was just an audio file of Johnny Cages funeral procession, after his "death" in MK3. If anyone has this file, or a link to a website with it on there, Please post a link on this thread. Thanks again. BTW does Boon still have a website? If so what is the address?

I remember it. It was indeed posted on the internet, not put in the actual game. It was before the game had come out. I doubt anyone still has it, but I do know what it said.
"We are gathered here today to mourn the death of Johnny Cage. Killed at the hands of Kintaro in the Second Mortal Kombat. He was only 29 years old. MK3 it's not over, not even close!"
