Good find. I used to love to play MK 4/ and MK Gold back in 97 and 98. They were fun. I loved the prison fan stage fatal. Its cool you like to play it still. I wouldn't mind seeing a combo video from it. But I think that the combos in that game just seemed limited. Sektor was great in MK Gold though, thats for sure.

Exactly, but Sektor is better than Kitana. Both of them are like MKD's "God" Tier, no others can touch them.

Cool, I knew about Sektor (haven't used him so far though) but I didn't know Kitana was up there. I had heard something about her only being good in practice, cus in-game her hits weren't always guaranteed, but I suppose that was wrong if she's top tier.
And yeah, defintely post some sick combos, we usualy turn of Max. Damage anyways (why didn't they have the option to turn it on/off in the Options menu?) so any combos would be great...



Yeah, it was a solid find. I'd been looking for ages, and was reallly shocked when I saw they had it, and was even more surprised when I opened it and saw it was the Red version. I find MK4 and G really fun, especially playing against your friends who aren't very good, because it's much easier for them to pick up and play than say MKT. I think for a VS game it's better than ppl make it out to be (ok, it's nowhere near UMK3/MKT) and I still enjoy it to this day. That's why I was looking for MKG, and it was worth getting, much improved over MK4...
Now for a combo video, I would do one for MKG, but I can't record my tv right now, hopefully one day I could get one done. I remember ded_ made an MK4 one, I'd like to see it again if it is still hosted somewhere...



Sektor's no. 1 eh? Do you know the entire list Konqrr? ded_ listed Baraka, Jarek and Tanya as the next tier, I was surprised Scorp wasn't in there...And I've been using Kung Lao a lot so far, and he seems pretty good too, but I haven't used many characters at all so far, so it would be great if I could get the entire list

anyway here are some Fujin combos i think right now, if i remember some other will post them too (havent play mk4/mkg soon):

with jax's/rieko's weapon - lp, lift, slam, b+lp 52%
with jarek's weapon - jump hp (hit enemey in air), lift, slam, hp, hp, hp, lp 65%
throw item, lift, draw weapon, slam, throw weapon - 58%
ahphk, lift, slam, aahphk - 52%

Too bad your MK4 vid is offline, I thought it was good, and too bad I deleted like a month ago But the one you linked is still pretty solid, some nice combos in there definitely.

I'll try those posted combos out sometime soon, they look nice, the 58% one sounds really cool to me. I haven't really got into Fujin yet, but from what I've seen in your vid, he is a combo king

Oh, and seeing the MK4 graphics in that vid, just makes me want to put together an MKG video. If I ever get the chance, I'll come to you for combos (Konqrr too)

mkg combo vid is a great idea. konqrr told me some time ago that he plans to do huge mkg combo vid someday, it will be awesome if he can find the time to make it someday
