In case you care.... I just finished playing Deadly Alliance, after putting it on the shelf for about 3 years. Most people know that I was disgusted with Deception... I won't go into that. I actually enjoyed playing Deadly Alliance. It seems that its not as broken as Deception. I would take Deadly Alliance with the death traps from deception anyday over what we DID end up getting just 3 years ago.

haha. It was more or less a joke pal. I was just stating that DA is a much better game (mechanically) than Deception.

DA is quite broken as well. It was heavily broken within a couple of weeks (probably days) of being released. The first tourny I heard of for it, which was about 2 weeks after it came out I think, featured a lot of the blatant abuse of the games brokenness.
The two are both quite terrible gameplay wise.

Yes, I agree with you, but I find myself having a much better time playing DA than Deception. It has many of the same flaws, but they don't seem to be as evident as Deception.

My bad, I see what you mean. Just casual playability and fun quality. My mind jumps straight to exploitable cookie cutter game flaws used in tournies (and on Kaillera -_-)

Hey no problem man. One of the things I like about the game is the fact that you can actually use pokes with a lot of the characters and not pay for it like on Deception. The gameplay in itself just feels more open and loose than Deception to me. It's hard to explain....
