If you heard that Mavado took KABAL's hookswords from the actual game and you're saying what you're saying, then you're just believing what you want and not what is the actual truth.

Kabal may not be dead, but if the game says that Mavado took Kabal's hookswords, then he most likely took 'em.

KABAL IS DEAD, GONE, WENT A BOOM BOOM, i believe mavado got tired of kabal's crap and just popped a cap in his ass, AND I HOPE KABAL WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK, he was a wasye of space, forget about him, he is gone, just my opinion

Kabal appears most likely to be dead, BUT U have to take note that they never actually mention him DEAD. They just say he was defeated, by saying this, ANYTHING could happen. So, Kabal COULD be alive and Boon is messing with us to make us wonder, OR he is DEAD for good.

he didnt really die they just wanted to better his looks, but in storyline, he is dead..

i think that there is a good story line for him. i want him to comeback. with out the mask and look like he is from hell.

a.k.a opinions. eanyways if you wach the makeing of vid. it shows that the hookswords were a random weapon (i think we say story line in the makeing there)

It does make the most logical sense unfortunately. Although kabal was after Kano as well for turning his back on him maybe he couldn't fight physically so he passed his sword blades on to Mavado. Kind of like Ermac teaching Blind Kenshi his telekenetic moves. I personally loved Kabal. He was right up there with scorpion and su-zero. I really hope they bring him back in MK6 but i just don't think he'd fit in as well. He needs to keep his spin dash intact which i just don't see happening.

Seriously though, he's so fucking dead its not even funny. If Kabal is not dead then....no wait he really is fucking dead. Movado killed him and gutted him like a fish. He then stomped his gas mask through his skull with his 5 inch spikes. He then proceeded to River Dance on his spine. After that he made fat jokes about Kabal's mother. After Mavado was done with him Baraka showed up. Being a scavenger, Baraka found the body and proceeded to fist fuck the corpse with his three foot arm blade fully extended. After that he proceeded urinate on the now unrecognizable body of that stupid, masked, asthma ridden bastard.
